Everyday, there are college students who discover they are facing an unplanned pregnancy, and their universities often lack the resources to support them.
Colleges across the country are contacting Baby Steps to learn how best to serve these Student-Moms.
The Next Step:
In response, Baby Steps made the decision to link arms with institutions and establish Hubs throughout the region and nation.

The Hub Phases
Official Baby Steps Staff or Planters are actively fundraising to be able to open their doors and begin serving Student-Moms.
The Hub is up and running, and Student-Moms are being empowered with housing, community, and support.

My husband and I had an unplanned pregnancy at Auburn University in the early 2000s, so I personally understand the beauty yet difficulty of completing my education while parenting. Being a new Student-Mom in this situation is hard which is why I was so happy to see Baby Steps open! The Baby Steps team creating an inclusive community to support Student-Moms is what led me to give.
