BOUNDLESS:
A CREATIVE SHOWCASE BabsonARTS, with the coordination of Visual Arts Manager, Tamblyn Griffiths, connected with our students to put on a student art show. This exhibit in the Hollister Gallery from January 29th through March 15th showcased the amazing artistic talents of the students who utilize our resources and knowledge. We are so proud of our exceptional artists!
STUDENT ARTS GRANT This year we awarded over $1,000 to support artistic projects for students who applied for our Student Arts Grant. These projects included video, ceramics, pottery, and needlefelt.
MASARY: THIS IS AN AUDIO MEMORY We worked together with the revolutionary artistic collective MASARY, who came to Babson for a 5-day residency this fall with an installation highlighting AI’s possibilities in visual art and music. MASARY used audio from the Babson archives as well as live student musicians to create beautiful animated effects on the side of the Glavin Chapel. The live performance of it’s creation drew many community members, helping to spread the word of the robust arts on campus.
