There was a rumor in the neighborhood that a new baby boy was coming to a wonderful family who lived on 102nd Street. Everyone was excited to meet him, they wanted to see him.
From all over the world gifts arrived for him. “What a lovely child!” the neighbors said.
Mom would ask him and imagine as they walked, “Max, what will the birds say when they see you walking around?” Mom answered, “Oh, what a cute little boy has come to this home!” “What will the trees say when they give you shade while you play?” “Wow, what a smart little boy has come to this home!” “What will the breeze say as it caresses your chubby cheeks while you play with Daddy?” “Wow, what a brave little boy has come to this home!” And so, Mom would spend hours talking with Max and his friend, Nature.
