How does it work?
The two sleeping bags consist of a padded outer sleeping bag with detachable sleeves and an inner sleeping bag. These sleeping bags are attached by press studs and because both sleeping bags can be worn together or separately, the sleeping bag is useable all year round for each season.

4. Fitted sheet
You can safely make a crib using the following 5 steps:
Place a cotton fitted sheet over it. It is nice to use a cotton fitted sheet, because it is breathable and adjusts to temperature. Cotton warms when it is cold and cools when it is warm. Ideal and soft to lie on. Did you know that we sell fitted sheets in no less than 14 colors and different sizes?

Place a mattress of at least 8 cm thickness on top. Your child sleeps a lot and therefore lies a lot on the mattress. A mattress with a thickness of at least 8 cm is necessary to bear the weight, without the slatted frame pushing through. Due to this minimal thickness, the mattress is firm enough to support your child well during the many hours it sleeps.
Make the bed short and tight with a cotton sheet and blanket. Make sure the baby’s feet are close to the foot end and that the bedding is up to your baby’s shoulders. Tuck the sheet and blanket securely at the bottom and both sides of the mattress. Making the bed short and tight is important because otherwise your child can get under the bedding and may not get itself out of it. By making the bed tight, your child can sleep safely and immediately feels safe when it is tucked in properly.

Put a flannel fitted sheet or underlay around the mattress to protect the mattress from moisture. When babies spit or a diaper leaks through, it is nice to have your mattress extra protected. Especially if you have a mattress with a cover you cannot wash. A flannel fitted sheet or pad is extra protection, but certainly not absolutely necessary. As your child gets older, they drool a lot while sleeping and that moisture cannot penetrate to the mattress. You protect your child’s mattress with the mattress protectors Meyco has to offer.

Place a muslin cloth on your fitted sheet. By folding it in half, you get two layers and if your child spits once, you do not have to wash the fitted sheet immediately. That saves a lot of laundry and you make the bed again quickly. This is especially useful, because in the beginning your child sleeps every two hours.
