ECHO ISLANDS, TEN YEARS LATER COLMNIST: Evelenn Rowanwood

Ten years. It’s been ten years since the Echo Islands were put under martial law due to Vol’jin’s rebellion. For many residents of the Echo Islands, that moment will never leave their mind, and that is especially true for Ma’kili. To paint a picture of the woman, imagine a short, stocky troll woman covered in scars. Her wild blue hair is cropped short. She had marched on Icecrown under Hellscream’s command, clad in armor and clutching a mace. She says she did it for her daughter. She believed the Horde would give her daughter a true future. It all came crumbling down when Garrosh put the Echo Islands under martial law, and her then-fourteen-year-old daughter would disappear. “We managed to trace her last moments,” says Ma’kili. “The last person to see her alive was Okuro, and everything we know about her last moments haunts me.”

However, few people want to think that Al’ari could be killed by one of their own. Al’ari’s friends state that a Kor’kron officer had been weirdly obsessed with Al’ari for a few weeks before her disappearance. Attempts to confirm the Kor’kron’s identity
