Background: Causey is the president of NASCAR’s Phoenix Raceway, overseeing the promotion and operation of the modernized facility that is a top motorsports and entertainment destination in the Phoenix market. She is the first African-American female to hold this role in NASCAR’s history. Causey is a Phoenix native and grew up in West Valley. Causey is a graduate of Arizona State University and a well-known leader in the Valley with a vast knowledge of professional sports and community development. She is very active in the Phoenix community and is currently the board chair for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Valley and the chair of the board for Valley of the Sun United Way.
