Career Development at Ayers Saint Gross The professional and personal development of our staff is encouraged through performance feedback, financial support, and ongoing educational opportunities that expose employees to the latest information regarding new research and practices in our industry.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT We support the professional development of our staff through our Professional Licensure and Certification Assistance Policy that provides assistance to those seeking professional licensure or certification within their area of expertise. We offer paid time off to take exams, financial assistance for the purchase of review materials, and reimbursement of exam and renewal fees. Examples of covered professional licenses include, but are not limited to, Registered Architect, Landscape Architect, AICP, and CPA. Examples of professional designations include, but are not limited to, AIA, LEED, and CSI. The firm will also reimburse (NCARB or CLARB) dues for those employees actively pursuing licensure status. We also support the continued development of our staff by encouraging participation in educational and professional development learning opportunities through our Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Policy. Eligible employees may also receive reimbursement of annual membership dues in professional associations directly related to their primary discipline. Additional time off and financial assistance is provided to participate in CPE activities such as field visits, firmsponsored training, and individual attendance at external conferences and learning events that are not attended as a representative or on behalf of the firm.
CAREER COACHING Successful career coaching relationships provide our employees with personalized guidance to create career plans that support their own growth and the health of the firm simultaneously. We encourage every employee to consider who within the firm could serve as a valuable partner to them in a coaching relationship, and provide resources to assist both parties in navigating their conversations. Cultivating these collaborative connections is a large part of who we are at Ayers Saint Gross.
FIRM SUPPORT OF GIVING BACK Giving back is a privilege, and Ayers Saint Gross supports its employeeowners in their charitable efforts. Several avenues exist for those who wish to partake in structured giving through the workplace. Paid volunteer hours and charitable gift-matching are some of the initiatives developed to nurture our culture of giving and to make it accessible to all.
