DIO / Amey / Weeton Barracks INSTALLATION OF EXTERNAL WALL INSULATION
Project Details As Principal Contractor, our Energy Efficiency programme at 36 properties at Summerer Grove, Weeton Barracks in Preston included all associated ground / enabling works to allow for the installation of External Wall Insulation (EWI) plus the installation of new windows and loft insulation as well as upgraded heating systems. We extended the roofs at all 36 properties to allow for extra 150 millimetres of EWI. These works form part of CLC’s 11-year contract with Amey which has recently been renewed to March 2029. This enduring relationship has seen us deliver maintenance and refurbishment works to over 12,500 married quarters including void properties for the Ministry of Defence Service Family Accommodation (SFA).
