Bathrooms Replacement Programme Ministry of Defence/Riverside Housing Association

Highlights

Specifications

As part of our Planned Cyclical Decorations/Improvements programme for Riverside Housing Association, Axis’ Midlands Division conducted a programme of Planned Bathrooms Replacement at 60 houses at RAF Cosford in Shropshire, a major part of the Defence College of Technical Training (DCTT).

• Strip out, removal and disposal of old bathroom suites

The Cosford Estate comprises 125 homes occupied by serving RAF personnel and families. In each property we installed one en-suite bathroom and one main family bathroom as well as a downstairs WC. To fulfil our client’s objective, which was to minimise disruption in the family homes, we phased our works starting with the en-suites and then continuing to the family bathroom followed by the downstairs WC. The Axis team worked outside our regular hours to ensure works were completed within the client’s timeframe working round the families’ availability/working commitments. When we encountered an issue with an existing supply chain we quickly sourced another so there was no interruption to our service.
