Axis was commissioned to carry out external works to Hendon Training Centre, which involved relocating the existing Main Entrance with Security Gates, Security Guard’s Lodge & all secure Access Control equipment.

Minor demolition work was included following the relocation of the existing reception and security modular buildings. During this time we had to provide temporary accommodation, including power and data links for the security team to maintain the secure barrier of this Met Police complex. The scope of works included the installation of a new security perimeter fence, security gates and barriers, installation of a Klargester cesspit/drainage system and associated electrical works. The reception and security cabin buildings, existing gates, barrier, turnstile and electrical control cabinet were carefully dismantled, relocated and then reassembled into a specified location. We also undertook various groundwork, including a tarmac surfaced car park, yellow and white lining parking bays and directional signage.
