Hello and welcome to our September Autumn and Winter newsletter, which is packed full of important information for all of our holiday home owners including new park updates, events, and competitions. We emerged from lockdown into a summer season with a difference, and despite the ongoing pandemic we have welcomed thousands of happy owners, their families and their guests onto park. We’ve opened up our amazing new developments the Lakeside Lido and The Giggling Goose, plus the new arcade extension which are all proving a huge success, and we are still working hard making ongoing improvements to the park infrastructure. We have also done an industry first and witnessed the launch of Away Resorts LIVE! Our brand-new Lakeside Lido has hosted over 3000 swim sessions throughout
the summer (that’s a lot of swimming!) Including Owner’s Exclusive swim times and early morning Lakeside Lane Swims. So, if you haven’t visited the new outdoor pool already – please go and take a look! Also, have you popped into the new adult-only bar and lounge The Giggling Goose yet? Enjoy sipping cocktails rain or shine from an impressive selection of over 100 gins! Sit in and relax in our spacious new lounge, or take in the stunning views outside looking across the lake, the secret garden and the new Lakeside Lido, we hope you will love this new space to chill. We now have Food Table Service added to our fantastic Away Resorts app! So you can have your food delivered to you from the comfort of your table when you’re in the Spitfire Bar. On the app, you can now prebook all of your activities too, with full details within this newsletter. This will make visiting our restaurant and booking activities hassle-free leaving you more time to enjoy park life. We had a big year planned for Owner’s Exclusive events and we are devastated that these couldn’t go ahead. We are awaiting confirmation regarding when these

I wanted to share with you that our Owner’s Support team is growing, we have welcomed Lewis Dean and Ayley Holdsworth to the After Sales office. We also now have an additional maintenance team member dedicated to After Sales too. So please give them all a warm welcome on park, I know they’re all looking forward to meeting all of you and your families and guests. I am sure you have seen in the press, that the demand for UK Staycations has soared since the end of lock down and 2021 looks to be stronger than ever. If you do take advantage of our hasslefree sublet scheme, keep an eye out for the 2021 letting guides due to be sent out to you over the coming weeks. The sooner you get this back to us, the more likely we are to let your holiday home.

Maintenance Team No job is too small…sounds like an advert, however it’s true! If you would like us to quote on any maintenance issues or one of those ‘I’ll do that job later’ scenarios, we’ll be only too pleased to help. Pop into Owner Services to find out more.
Health & Safety Any owner that requires contractors to visit them on park will need to have them authorised by Dean Poppy. Please call Owner Services to obtain the necessary paperwork and to find out more.
Housekeeping Team We offer holiday home spring cleans, external washes and decking washes to all of our owners! Just pop into the office to book your spot. Keep an eye out for your Winterisation forms which will be with you over the next few weeks.
Doggies For your dogs, yours and everyone else on parks safety, we do kindly ask you to keep your dogs on leads at all times. If your dog poops, please pick it up and help keep the park tidy and clean!
Private Sublets
If you are subletting your holiday home can you please ensure that your electric and gas certificates are up to date, and that our office has an up to date copy so that your guests are able to purchase passes during their stay with us.
Guest Passes they will be asked for the accommodation address and our Holiday Heroes will check the size of the accommodation on our system and charge the correct price according to the number of bedrooms and duration of stay.
Unfortunately we will be unable to issue any passes to guests if the certificates are out of date. Gas certificates are required every year and electric certificates every three years. If your guests are wishing to purchase
To avoid disappointment and to make sure your guests have an enjoyable stay from start to finish we do advise that you inform your guests of the correct guest passes price before arrival, and just let them know that they’ll need these passes to gain access into our venues and facilities, thank you.

Gas Bottles
When you feel like your gas is running out you can now simply order via the Away Resorts app, or just pop over to Guest Services and one of the lovely team there will be able to help you purchase another one for your holiday home.

You’re able to have 6/8 passes per holiday home for you and your family to enjoy the facilities that we have to offer here on park. Forms are now available to collect from the Holiday Home Sales Office, so pop in when you’re next on park and get your details filled in!

NEW food table service You can now order your food and drinks through your phone. Simply fire up the Away Resorts app and select ‘Food Ordering’. Choose the restaurant you are dining at, enter your table number and start adding items to your basket. Once you’ve got everything you fancy, proceed to check out and enter payment details. Sit back, relax and let us bring you your order!

The Giggling Goose We hope you’ve been able to visit our stunning new adult-only bar and lounge The Giggling Goose. Join us between 10am and 10pm daily to enjoy delicious cocktails and explore our new luxury venue with a few hidden surprises! We kindly ask that you continue to be patient with our teams as we are operating on a first come, first served basis and due to covid restrictions there is a limited capacity in this venue.

The Lakeside Lido Our new Lakeside Lido is our new huge outdoor pool! Have you taken a dip yet? You and your guests can swim, party, drink, eat and soak up the remaining sunshine! We are hopeful that we will be able to keep the Lakeside Lido open until the 1st week of November (temperature dependent!) to allow as many holiday home owners and guests to enjoy it as much as possible.

Merlin Complex The Merlin Complex will be operating at a limited capacity and therefore you may experience queues upon entry. The Merlin Complex includes the arcade, the Spitfire Bar, Propeller Bar & Kitchen, Bar 49 and the outdoor amphitheatre area.
For your own safety, please ensure there are no more than 2 households at a table at any one time and a minimum of 1m social distancing is always being adhered to.
If you have a booking for the Propeller Bar & Kitchen, please make your way to the front of the queue with your booking confirmation.

If you’d like to order, please call us on 01526 348 816 and we will reserve your time slot or alternatively you can order and pay on our app. Lakeside Lido Our brand new, beautiful outdoor pool at Tattershall Lakes is now open! Swim sessions of 1-hour will apply, to ensure you can swim safely and must be booked prior online. We politely request that you arrive at the pool 'swim-ready' however changing room facilities will be available. Our toilets and showers within the facility will also be open. Social distancing must continue to be adhered to in and around the pool.
Giggling Goose Join us between 10am – 10pm daily to enjoy delicious cocktails and explore our new luxury venue with a few hidden surprises! Indoor Swimming Pool & Splash Zone Our lovely indoor pool and splash zone, Aqua PLAY is open! Swim sessions must be booked prior onlin. All sessions are 1-hour. Our toilets and showers within the facility will also be open. Social distancing must continue to be adhered to in and around the pool. Outdoor Cinema Weather dependant we have four showings a week currently running on our outdoor cinema screens; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday! Our entertainments team will be there to ensure social distancing is being adhered to so you can safely grab a seat and sit with your family. Please note; we will not be providing blankets at this time to ensure your utmost safety, so please remember to bring your own! The Shop As with other shops at the moment, there are precautions in place to ensure the safety of yourselves, holidaymakers, other owners and the park
team. You will notice the following measures in place: Queue management system - Sanitisation station at entrance - Limited capacity - Social distancing - Sneeze screens at tills - Contact-less payments only. Adventure Playground Our Adventure Playground is open for you and your family to enjoy. However for your own safety, please ensure you are following Government advice around social distancing. Sports Court Our Sports Court is open. For your own safety, and to keep in line with Government advice please ensure only one household are using the court at any one time. Water Sports From paddle boarding to wakeboarding, you can enjoy so many activities on the beautiful lakes! Activities & Play Activities and Play that we feel we can run safely using socially distanced measures are still going ahead, from Target Archery to Disc Golf! Please take a look at the website or our app to prebook! Pedalos Enjoy a 15-minute session with your family (up to 4 people) The pedalos are cleaned between hire and contactless payment is available. Fishing Enjoy fishing on our lakes, each boast a plentiful variety of species. You must have a fishing license and also obtain a fishing permit. Fishing permits can be obtained through Sportsbooker, please refrain from going to Guest Services at this time. For all your fishing equipment and bait, pop to Tom's Tackle - but don’t forget you'll need a form of ID to make purchase, a driving license will be accepted.
Cycle Hire You can still hire a bike safely from us, please make a reservation at the Lakeside Lido Leisure Desk and then head to the Bike Hut (next to the Sports Court!) All bikes are cleaned in between hire and our team all wear correct levels of PPE. The Beach Please feel free to enjoy the glorious English weather on our little beach, ensuring social distancing guidelines are being adhered to at all times. Crazy Golf You can play a game of crazy golf safely with your family. Please note that all clubs and balls are cleaned in between hire by team members wearing correct levels of PPE. Outdoor Splash Pad Our outdoor splash pad is now open! Social distancing must continue to be adhered to. Snack Shacks At selected times, we will have our snack shops open serving light bites and refreshments. Please note, we are currently only accepting contactless payments. High Ropes Course We are open with social distancing and safety measures in place. Holiday Home Sales Opening Times are 9am 7pm (Everyday) *All facilities are open as above at time of going to print, but are subject to time changes and closures in line with government guidelines to ensure we keep everybody safe.

ot tub Hhousekeeping If you have a hot tub, we want you and your family and friends to use and enjoy it safely. It is important to be aware of the potential risks that can arise. Hot tubs are a recognised source of diseases and there have been a number of recorded outbreaks of Legionnaires which have included fatalities linked to poorly designed and/or managed hot tubs. Legionnaires is usually caught by breathing in small droplets of contaminated water. This means that other park guests may be exposed to it even if they are not using your hot tub. We expect you to maintain your hot tubs to ensure the safety for all. The
Health & Safety Executive guidance document is available to be downloaded for free from hse.gov.uk/ legionnaires/spa-pools We also advise you to follow any other recommendations from the hot tub manufacturer and/ or the supplier. Please note that if you are subletting your holiday home, you will be deemed to be undertaking a commercial operation and your legal responsibilities with regards to the management of hot tubs will be more stringent. For more information on your responsibilities or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Halloween at Tattershall Lakes We love Halloween at Away Resorts and hope you’ll all join us for some Spooktacular events! We’ll have something for everyone to enjoy with Ghoul School – where you can turn yourself into a Halloween character, Slime Workshop – for all you gooey slime lovers out there, and Petrifying Pottery Painting to name a few! We hope to see you visiting your holiday homes between Friday 16th October and Sunday 1st November to come and take part!

We are looking for creative budding artists to design our very own Owners Christmas Card this year, and the winners drawing will be sent out to all our lovely owners at Tattershall Lakes. The theme is ‘Christmas at Tattershall Lakes’
