Hi everyone! Well, July is here and the year is really flying by! As we welcomed a new King with the change to Great Britain, we have also witnessed some changes here at The Bay Filey. We are delighted to introduce our new Head of Departments: Jake Pearson as Sports & Leisure Manager, Craig Oliver as the Site Services Manager, and Ruby Young as Accommodation Manager. With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to Ash Ewbank - Commercial Manager, who is embarking on a new role as a Driving Instructor. We would like to express our gratitude for everything he has done and wish him well. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the challenges we faced with the grounds this year. The relentless weeds and grass have tested us, and I want to thank you all for your patience. The Grounds Team has worked tirelessly to tackle these issues and has made significant progress. Once again, thank you. With only five months until Christmas, our planning has already begun. We will provide more details very soon (oh, how I love Christmas!). We are also seven months into our Owners Events, which have been a big hit. If you have any ideas for next year's events, please email Stuart at Stuart.lovick@awayresorts.co.uk. We would love to have your input. So far this year, we have enjoyed Wine & Gin Tasting, Afternoon Tea, Owners' Coffee Mornings, and Breakfasts. I have been conducting General Managers' one-on-one meetings for over a month now, and it has been a fantastic idea. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending this time with some of you, and we have received valuable feedback. Please refer to the available dates within this newsletter if you wish to book some time for yourself. So, there you have it...summer is here.
