Park Life Welcome to your first Away Resorts Golden Sands Owner’s Newsletter, we are looking forward to Easter and this season with you at Golden Sands! We have a busy year ahead and have a great 2022 owners’ events calendar over on the next page of this newsletter that Carly has been working General Manager hard on. So, grab your diaries and get some dates in to join us for some BBQ’s, tipples, breakfasts, and family fun days!

Just a reminder; if you haven’t already, please remember to submit your applications for your adults and children’s Owner Passes and collect these from Reception when you are next on park. We are excited for you to try the delicious new menu items in ‘Catch 22’, our refurbished Fish and Chip Shop, we know they will be a big hit here! Vanessa the previous owner of the shop is now the Food & Beverage Manager for Catch 22, so we are very happy Vanessa is still with us and a friendly familiar face. We also have lots of other team news for this season, Declan is our Food and Beverage Manager for the Carousel bar and new Security Manager. Cameron previously our Security Manager is now our new Holiday Home Sales Advisor so pop in for a brew and see Cameron when you can.

What’s happening at
Samuel is our Food & Beverage Manager for the Sandpiper, with Richard as the Kitchen Manager. Kerry is our Guest Services Manager, with Zara as Guest Experience Manager! There has been lots of changes but we are all excited for Easter and the season ahead with you. 2022 bookings are very strong, so if you are interested in our new owner subletting scheme ‘Host Away’, please do contact Zara. The new sublet scheme includes the new repair cover plan which has been a big success so far for many owners to earn additional income to put towards their pitch fees. I am sure you will have seen already; we are happy to welcome dogs in some areas inside on their leads, in the Sandpiper apart from carpeted areas, and in the Arcade. Please note due to the noise levels dogs are not allowed in the Carousel Bar. From all of us at Golden Sands we wish you a lovely Easter. We have an easter egg waiting for you to collect (one per holiday home) in Guest Services! So please do pop in to collect yours from Wednesday 13th April, we will keep the eggs here for collection until Sunday 24th April.

19th Event: Owners Charity Golf Day in Memory of Malcom Clark More details to follow soon Please book in advance via the Sales Enquiry Centre, booking is open from Friday 3rd June until Friday 17th June, this event is adults only.
Please book in advance with Guest Services, bookings are open from Friday 17th June until Tuesday 5th July. There is a £5 deposit redeemable on attendance per owner.
August 27th Event: Golden Sands Colour Fun Day Venue: The Play Park More details to follow soon If you would like to join us for the BBQ, please book and collect your food ticket in advance with Guest Services, tickets are available from Monday 1st August until Tuesday 23rd August.
During our ‘31 days of Halloween’ event we will be hosting many spooky activities and events over the month with our annual Halloween Party the weekend of the 28th!

December 17th & 18th Event: Santa’s Grotto & Owners Christmas Party More details to follow soon Please book in advance with Guest Services, bookings are open from Friday 1st December until Thursday 15th December. Santa’s Grotto tickets are £5 per child and redeemable upon attendance.
September 17th Event: Owners Bierkeller Night Time: 8pm Venue: The Sandpiper Spaces are limited so please book in advance. Tickets are required for food only, If you and the family would like to have some food with us please contact Guest Services, bookings are open from Friday 26th August until Tuesday 13th September.

Utility charge changes We have in the past enjoyed some long-term stability with our utility costs, however as I am sure you are aware, utility costs are now increasing. We will be billing your Electric in November. As of May 1st the 47kg gas bottles will increase to £79 per bottle. We will of course reduce this cost when we see a decrease in the charges we are paying.
