Activities are Heating Up in Avalon Park this Summer This July, Avalon Park is the place to be! Downtown is buzzing with fantastic events and activities designed to bring neighbors together and create unforgettable summer memories. Whether it’s the Annual 4th of July Festival or the newly expanded Christmas in July event, mark your calendars for these fun favorites and even some new activities coming:
East Orlando Gym Spirit Week Show your community pride and fitness spirit during East Orlando Gym’s Spirit Week! Participate in themed workout sessions, dress up in your craziest gym attire, and join in the fun challenges. There will be prizes for the most spirited participants, so bring your A-game and your enthusiasm!
4th of July Festivities Kick off the month with the best 4th of July festival in town! Festivities start with the Avalon Park Foundation Firecracker 5K at 8 am and continues with a Patriotic Bike Parade at 5:30 pm, showcasing decorated bikes from community members of all ages. Explore the variety of vendors offering delicious food, crafts, and local products and don’t miss the Apple Pie Bake-Off, where the best bakers in Avalon Park will compete for the top prize. Enjoy a beautiful inaugural performance by the Avalon Park Community Choir, singing a patriotic favorite. The day will conclude with spectacular fireworks display at 9 pm.
