Avalon Park Wesley Chapel continues to grow, connect, and come alive—and this spring, the community will come together for one of its most anticipated signature events: Absolutely Avalon, returning on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 5–9 PM in Downtown Avalon Park Wesley Chapel.
More than a festival, Absolutely Avalon is a celebration of everything that makes Avalon Park Wesley Chapel unique—its people, its cultures, and the shared experiences that bring neighbors together. The evening will feature a complimentary Kids Area and Bounce Park, a curated lineup of food trucks, live performances, and a vibrant mix of artisan, craft, and business vendors. A Children’s Entrepreneur Market will once again spotlight young local makers, and the night will conclude with a laser light show at 9 PM, lighting up the Downtown skyline.
The timing of this year’s Absolutely Avalon is especially meaningful as Avalon Park Wesley Chapel enters an exciting new chapter of growth and connectivity.
Avalon Park Boulevard is now officially open, creating a direct connection between Downtown and the surrounding residential neighborhoods and reinforcing the town’s walkable, connected design. Town Park is now under construction, adding a long-anticipated gathering space that will serve as a central hub for community life. The park is anticipated to be completed later this spring.
Educational opportunities continue to expand as Pinecrest Academy prepares to open its high school building, strengthening Avalon Park Wesley
Chapel’s commitment to learning at every stage. Along Avalon Park Boulevard, Stanley Martin Homes has begun its next phase of residential development, adding new energy and continued momentum to one of the town’s primary corridors.
Looking ahead, additional milestones are on the horizon, including a future grocery store and hotel that will further enhance the Downtown experience. Together, these developments reflect the same intentional, long-term vision that has guided Avalon Park communities for decades— creating places where people can truly live, learn, work, and play.
Absolutely Avalon captures that spirit in one unforgettable evening, welcoming residents, families, and visitors to experience the heart of Avalon Park Wesley Chapel. From cultural performances and family-friendly activities to local businesses and community pride, the event reflects a town that is not only growing—but thriving.
Community members are encouraged to follow Avalon Park Wesley Chapel on social media for event updates, performance announcements, and behind-the-scenes highlights as the celebration approaches. Those interested in participating can visit the Avalon Park Wesley Chapel website to sign up as a vendor, apply for a community performance, or find additional event details.
Absolutely Avalon • April 4, 2026 • 5–9 PM Downtown Avalon Park Wesley Chapel, 4110 Avalon Park Blvd., Wesley Chapel, FL 33545
Join the celebration—and stay connected as Avalon Park Wesley Chapel continues to grow.

Rome was not built in one day — and neither are our Avalon Park towns.
Avalon Park Wesley Chapel continues to gain momentum as a true sister town to Avalon Park Orlando, and I am very proud of the progress taking place north of Tampa. Today, more than 2,500 residential units have been built, along with a fully leased mixed-use building, schools, and parks that already serve as gathering places for the community.
Several important milestones now mark the next phase of growth. Pinecrest Academy is preparing to open its high school building, further strengthening educational opportunities within the town. Avalon Park Boulevard is now officially open, creating a direct connection between Downtown Avalon Park Wesley Chapel and the surrounding residential neighborhoods. Construction is also underway on the Town Park, an essential centerpiece that will bring neighbors together and anchor the town center experience.
In addition, Stanley Martin Homes has begun its next phase of residential development along Avalon Park Boulevard, adding new energy and momentum to one of the town’s primary corridors and reinforcing the connection between Downtown and the residential neighborhoods.
Looking ahead, a grocery store and hotel are on the horizon, along with additional developments that will continue to shape the heart of the community. When fully built out over the next decade, Avalon Park Wesley Chapel will clearly reflect the same live, learn, work, and play philosophy that has guided our work for nearly three decades. Many visitors
already tell me it feels like Avalon Park Orlando — and that is exactly the intention.
While Wesley Chapel is very much in its growth phase, our other Avalon Park towns continue to move forward as well.
In Avalon Park Orlando, we have now broken ground on the final 10 acres of development, completing the vision first approved in our 1996 Master Plan. Those final projects include townhomes, independent living, live/work units, and a health and wellness center, bringing the total value of development in Avalon Park Orlando to more than $3 billion once complete.
Avalon Park Tavares is nearing completion with more than 1,000 residential units, a highly rated A school, and the unmistakable Avalon Park charm set among rolling hills and natural lakes.
And in Daytona, our fourth sister town continues to move closer to construction, having cleared major hurdles in recent months. We are confident it will become a great addition to the Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach area.
Building towns takes time, patience, and longterm commitment. Avalon Park Wesley Chapel is clearly on its way to becoming a place residents will proudly call home, and I look forward to watching its story continue to unfold.

Coming together to create a healthy community

The Pasco Economic Development Council (Pasco EDC) is pleased to announce that Isla Maritime, a marine services provider specializing in vessel salvage and commercial diving, has expanded its operations and opened its headquarters in Pasco County, Florida.

Isla Maritime has purchased a 3,000-square-foot warehouse and office space in Port Richey, Florida. Serving as the company’s strategic U.S. headquarters, the space will be used to store, maintain, and service all diving and salvage equipment, and the office space will support enhanced operations for the company’s growing team.

Since its founding in 2023, the company has continued to expand its operations following rapid growth. It has supported high-profile projects involving NOAA vessels, the USS Yorktown, and the MV Dali salvage operation, while also establishing its new headquarters in Pasco County and forming a strategic partnership in Panama.
“The team at Isla Maritime is grateful for the opportunity to leverage Pasco EDC’s resources
and support. Pasco EDC provided site location assistance during our search for warehouse and office space and has continued to be a valuable resource as new needs and questions arise,” said Aileen Caras, CEO of Isla Maritime. “We are proud to establish our headquarters in Pasco County and be a part of this community as we grow and expand our operations.”
Isla Maritime has also just announced expanded international capabilities via a strategic partnership with Panama-based J.A.M. Marine Dockyard (J.A.M.). The partnership means that salvage and response needs across the Panama Canal and surrounding waterways, a pivotal gateway for global commerce and trade operations, will now be met with speed, scale, and precision.

“I am excited about Isla Maritime’s rapid growth and the strategic international partnerships they are forming. Port Richey is a great location for them, with quick access to the Gulf of America and our surrounding waterfront counties,” shared Bill Cronin, President/CEO of Pasco EDC. “Our team is here to support them as they continue to expand in Pasco County for many years to come.”
Isla Maritime specializes in environmental remediation, marine salvage, commercial diving, naval architecture, abandoned/derelict vessel removal, and consulting. They are also uniquely qualified to support public-sector projects with a team of skilled commercial divers who hold diverse backgrounds in construction, offshore oil and gas, maritime salvage, and underwater inspections.
“Isla Maritime choosing Pasco County really shows how much our local economy is growing,” says Pasco County Commissioner Lisa Yeager. “As a woman-owned small business, their success also reflects the kind of diverse, high-quality companies we’re proud to support here in Pasco County.”
During the month of January 2026, the Pasco Tax Collector’s Office featured the Gold Star Family Memorial Monuments as the Charity of the Month. The $6,993.71 raised and donated to the memorial fund will help in the building of two monuments in Pasco County to honor Gold Star Families. Gold Star Families are those who paid the ultimate price (losing a loved one in service of our nation) so that their sacrifice to protect our freedoms as Americans will not be forgotten. The building of the monuments is a joint effort by the non-profits Pasco Appraiser Gives and the Woody Williams Foundation.
“Pasco Appraiser Gives would like to sincerely thank Pasco County Tax Collector Mike Fasano and Pasco TC Gives for the generous donation of $6,993 to help fund Gold Star Families Memorial Monuments in Pasco County!” remarks Pasco Property Appraiser Mike Wells. “Both monuments and the surrounding installations are entirely donor funded. Local businesses, organizations, and individuals alike have a unique opportunity to support this legacy project that will be a poignant tribute within our community. We’re so thankful for the generous support
of our friends at the Tax Collector’s Office.”
“The memorials, one in East Pasco (Wesley Chapel District Park) and one in West Pasco (Veterans Memorial Park), will honor the legacy, service and sacrifice of loved ones so that we may all live with liberty,” remarks Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “Thank you to every person who donated not only during our charitable giving drive, but to all who continue to donate today. Your donation in any amount will help bring honor to those who gave all so that we can truly live free.”

There are hugs that never fade with time. They don’t depend on physical presence or spoken words. They are the hugs that God plants in our hearts.
Our children and granddaughters are part of you, sacred gifts of love that God bestowed upon us. When I look at them, I recognize your spirit, your smile, and your light. In each of them, your essence lives on. God left them to us as a promise that love doesn’t die, it only transforms and accompanies us forever.
“Love never ends” 1 Corinthians 13:8 (ESV)
Though eyes cannot see and hands cannot touch, true love still envelops us. God, in His tenderness, allows us to feel that unbreakable embrace: the one that lives in memories, in hope, and in the promise of eternal life.
Today we rest in this truth: we are not alone. The love that God united does not fade; it accompanies us, sustains us, and awaits for us. In God, every embrace is eternal.
Heavenly Father, thank you for the love that never ends and for the embraces that remain even as time passes. Thank you for the life you gave us together, thank you for the legacy of love and the heritage of faith that lives on in our children and grandchildren.
Allow us to recognize Your presence in every smile, in every loving gesture, and in every healing memory. When our hearts ache, embrace us with your peace. Reaffirm in us the certainty that the love born from you does not die, it is only transformed and remains forever.
We thank You, Lord, for a love that leaves an eternal mark. His life was a gift, and the embrace and love we shared do not
fade. We hold to the promise that we will meet again; for in Your grace, death is not the end, but a place of rest and a living hope.
Thank you, Lord, we rest in you. And until that day, his love and embrace remain forever in our hearts.
IN MEMORY OF OUR BELOVED HUSBAND, FATHER, AND GRANDFATHER!
