SALESBULLETIN 2024 TECHNICIAN OF THE YEAR PROGRAM APH is excited to announce the details of the 2024 Technician of the Year (TOTY) program. This program is designed to acknowledge those Certified Service Center technicians who have dedicated their time to become the best of the best! The qualifications for nominees are listed on the attached flyer. Each store (assuming you have at least one CSC) can submit one qualified TOTY finalist to their regional manager as part of this program. We’ve had a solid “track record” with this fantastic program! We had a national winner in 2021 (Jeff Weller from Fergus Falls) along with a national finalist in 2022 (Bart Woyczik from Lacrosse). Here are some additional details for this year’s program: REGIONAL TOTY CONTEST: All qualified candidates must be submitted to your Regional Manager (Ind. Stores to Dave Bock) no later than 4/15/2024. Your RM will choose their regional finalist (one per region) and submit their completed form to Tim Cordell by Monday 4/22/2024. Each regional finalist will receive a plaque and $100 VISA gift card honor their accomplishment. Additionally, the regional finalists will be invited to our VIP event at Brained International Raceway in August during the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals. ALLIANCE NATIONL TOTY COMPETITION: Our APH Executive Committee will select one regional finalist as our 2024 APH TOTY. This winner and their guest will enjoy an all-expensepaid trip to Detroit in July 2024 to participate in the Alliance’s National TOTY Competition. The finalist will compete with the others from around the Alliance to determine the national winner. The competition includes a custom 90 question ASE test and a hands-on test of their mechanical skills. This national winner will be awarded $2,500 and will represent the entire Alliance at the 2024 ASE National Convention in the fall! Remember: each individual store can submit a qualifying finalist to their regional manager. Please begin creating a list of qualified candidates from the CSC shops in your market. Visit them to see if they meet the qualifications for this program and if they are interested in competing for the national TOTY title for 2024. If you have questions regarding this annual program, feel free to contact Tim Cordell, Dave Bock or Dan Maciej at APH. Good Selling! A10-24
