A Light Rigid Licence is a step up from a truck licence in Brisbane. You can operate a light rigid licence with an automatic or manual gearbox. You must have held a provisional, probationary, or open driver’s licence for at least a year. Tradies, school teachers & tour guides can apply for an lr licence.
A medium rigid licence, also known as an MR Licence, is a heavier vehicle licence that falls under the intermediate category and gives you access to a wider variety of vehicles than an LR Licence. Due to its greater versatility and ability to operate all two-axle vehicles over 8t GVM, it is one of the most popular licences.
We at Brisbane provide a heavy rigid licence. You must pass the heavy vehicle theoretical test with Queensland Transport and have a car licence for at least 24 months which may be a minimum of 2 years' green plate. We cover all the skills required to work safely in the transport sector.
Heavy combination licences include LR, MR, HR & MC. There are 3 different types of licence: HC unconditional licence, Licensing under Condition B, and licencing under HC Condition. Applicants must have a valid NSW MR or heavy combination truck licence for at least a year.
Multi combination Licence is the most advanced and challenging licence you can obtain in Brisbane. People who want to work as drivers of the biggest and trickiest trucks on the road need a Multi Combination Licence. You must have an HC licence for at least 12 months to qualify for your MC truck licence.
My Trainer made me feel very comfortable and had educated knowledge in the truck industry and was a good instructor. I would recommend your school in the future to anyone I hear looking to get a truck licence in Brisbane.
