Center for Integrated Learning Empowering Students to Learn with Confidence and Purpose
At Austin Prep, our Center for Integrated Learning provides a calm and welcoming environment where students in grades 6–12 can access the support they need to thrive. Guided by Augustinian values, our team helps students strengthen skills, build confidence, and discover strategies for lifelong learning.

Austin Prep offers three levels of support that meet students where they are and help them reach their full potential.
Available to all Austin Prep students as part of the academic program. These services help every learner strengthen study habits, stay organized, and build confidence.
• Advisory – A daily touchpoint where students receive guidance, reflect on growth, and build the social and emotional foundation for success at Austin Prep and beyond.
• Cougar Academic Training (CAT) – A peer-led, six-week support program for grades 6–9 that reinforces classroom learning, study skills, and time management.
• Office Hours – Dedicated time for students to meet with teachers for extra help or clarification.
• Peer Tutoring – Student-to-student academic assistance that promotes collaboration and mentorship.
• Austin Mentors Program – Upper-class students guiding younger peers through academic and personal transitions.
Academic Accommodations (no additional charge)
For students with a documented physical or learning diagnosis, the Integrated Learning Center provides accommodations at no extra cost to ensure equitable access to learning and assessment. For example:
• Extended Time – Extra time on tests and assignments.
• Reduced-Distraction Testing – Quiet environments that promote focus.
• Assistive Technology – Tools such as text-to-speech and other supports that enhance participation.
Expanded Learning Support Services (fee for service)
The Integrated Learning Center provides targeted instruction and individualized academic support for students seeking to strengthen their skills.
• Dyslexia Support – Tutorials that strengthen reading and writing through evidence-based methods.
• Alternate English and History Courses – Small, structured classes aligned with the Austin Prep curriculum, offering support for diverse learning profiles.
• Executive Functioning Support in Small Groups – Sessions focused on organization, time management, planning, and task completion.
• Academic and Executive Functioning Coaching – One-on-one meetings that help students build personalized study, organization, and self-management strategies.
These programs provide focused, individualized instruction that supports both academic achievement and confidence beyond the classroom, with the examples above representing just some of the ways we support students.
