The UAB Music Technology program equips students with the technical skills and hands-on experience needed to elevate their artistry as composers, arrangers, multimedia creators, producers, performers, and recording engineers. As today’s music industry becomes more complex, musicians need entrepreneurship competencies to complement their artistic and technical talents as freelancers, producers, songwriters, engineers, and multimedia artists. From understanding contracts and copyrights to mastering social media and branding strategies, these skills can de ne a career’s success. In partnership with the Collat School of Business, Bare eld Entrepreneurship Program, and Innovation Depot, the Minor in Entrepreneurship offers intensive educational experiences via seminars, industry-related projects, and internships. Paired with the Major in Music Technology, this minor empowers you to turn your creative vision into a thriving career.
