Often auctioneers aren’t running “a system”. They’re running a stack; back office here, website there, timed auction somewhere else, live auctions on a separate platform, plus spreadsheets bridging the gaps. It’s workable… until the day it isn’t. And the cost is rarely the subscription fees, it’s the friction, the risk, and the time you never get back.
The real problem: fragmentation
Every extra product adds complexity. Complexity raises the risk of failure. And under pressure, failures happen faster.
That’s why the modern auction operation is moving toward a single idea: the one-platform model, where the back office and front office sit in one joined-up environment, driven by one dataset.
When your software isn’t connected, you pay for it in all the places that matter:
• Admin time (rekeying, double-checking, chasing updates)
• Errors (mismatched lots, bidder records, invoice inconsistencies)
• Stress (sale week becomes “hope nothing breaks” week)
• Slow change (every improvement becomes an integration project)
And here’s the uncomfortable truth: many businesses get used to the drag. They build coping mechanisms. They accept the mess as “just how it is.” It doesn’t have to be.
What if your auction workflow was actually fully integrated?
Imagine consignments flowing straight into inventory ready to catalogue. Catalogue feeding your website automatically in real time. Bidding outcomes linked into invoicing and settlement. A single view of every bidder and vendor. One place to run the operation, without patching tools together to make it work.
That’s the promise of a unified platform. That’s BidHarvest®
• Entering the same data twice
• Fixing inconsistencies between systems
• Manual settlement and reconciliation
• Support issues bouncing between suppliers
• Avoiding upgrades because “it might break something”
• Spending sale week managing process, not performance
If any of this feels familiar, you’re paying the ‘stack tax’.

The unified solution for auction back office and front office
BidHarvest® is built for forward thinking auctioneers who want more than a patchwork of tools.
A truly unified software platform that brings together:
• A modern web-based back office
• A full website front end
• Private-label timed and live bidding
• API integration to major platforms, so you can keep listing where you need to, without making your business dependent on a back office you don’t control
BidHarvest® doesn’t just “connect” workflows, it owns the auction workflow end-to-end.
Cut admin and free up capacity by eliminating duplicate work, giving your team more time for revenue-generating activity. A single, unified dataset reduces errors under pressure, while bidding outcomes flow seamlessly into invoicing, settlements, and vendor statements—no manual juggling required. Modern consignment tools, including digital contracts, keep operations moving quickly, and full Xero integration ensures reconciliation is simple, not a separate task.
Plus, switching doesn’t have to be painful
When replacing legacy systems, the fear is disruption. Fair. That’s why BidHarvest® includes data migration services from legacy platforms, focused on continuity: protecting history, preserving confidence, and getting your team operational fast.
And, you get a roadmap for the future

BidHarvest® is modern auction technology built for ongoing feature releases, so the platform keeps improving, release after release, as your business evolves. You’re not buying a static product. You’re buying momentum: a roadmap you can actually build plans around.
• Can this platform replace my stack, not just parts of it?
• Will I still be able to list to major aggregators with ease?
• Is there a robust migration pathway from legacy systems?
• Are releases shipped regularly, or once a year if we pay for them?
• Will this reduce overhead and risk on auction days?
If you’re not asking these, you’re leaving performance (and profit) on the table.

BidHarvest® delivers a unified auction platform designed to simplify operations and give auctioneers complete control from intake to invoice.
Book a guided demo and experience what happens when your back office and front office finally run as one, the longer you wait, the more you keep paying the “stack tax.”

The UK property auction sector continues to evolve, with consolidation and scale increasingly shaping the competitive landscape.
Network Auctions has officially rebranded as BTG Eddisons Property Auctions after being acquired by the fast-growing national auctioneer in December, marking another step in the continued expansion of the group.
The London-based business becomes the fourth operation to join BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, following the integration of North West-based Pugh, SDL Property Auctions in the East Midlands and Yorkshire firm Mark Jenkinson. These three auction houses were brought together under a single national brand in February, having collectively achieved more than £375 million in property and land sales throughout 2025.
With the addition of Network Auctions, the group is now positioned as one of the UK’s largest property auction businesses, combining strong regional expertise with a broader national reach. The expanded platform delivers a full suite of auction formats, including live stream, multilot timed and single-lot timed sales. In total, BTG Eddisons Property Auctions is expected to bring around 350 lots to market each month, spanning residential and commercial property, as well as land and development opportunities.
Andrew Parker, Partner and Auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said: “The addition of Network Auctions further strengthens our offering to a diverse client base, including businesses, private individuals, local authorities and other public sector bodies seeking to unlock value from surplus assets.”
“Operating under a single national brand enables us to deliver greater reach and resource to our clients, while Network Auctions benefits from the scale of the enlarged platform and access to BTG’s wider financial and real estate services.”
Network Auctions Director Toby Limbrick said: “This is a really positive step for us. We’ve built a strong reputation in the market over the years and becoming

part of BTG Eddisons Property Auctions gives us the platform to take that even further.”
“It means we can offer our clients greater reach, more resource and access to a broader range of buyers, while still delivering the same personal service. Being part of a larger national business also opens up new opportunities for growth, both in London and beyond, which is hugely exciting for us.”
BTG Eddisons Property Auctions operates nationwide through a network of regional offices, providing a wide range of property and land opportunities to both private and public sector clients. The business continues to invest in technology-enabled auction formats, including live stream and timed sales, helping buyers and sellers transact efficiently from anywhere in the UK.
The move also forms part of a wider group rebrand, following the transition from Begbies Traynor Group to BTG. As part of this, Eddisons, the Leeds-headquartered property consultancy acquired by the group 11 years ago, has been renamed BTG Eddisons, aligning the brand across its services.
BTG Eddisons operates as a UK-wide property consultancy, bringing together surveyors, agents, auctioneers and advisors under one integrated platform. With a network of more than 35 offices and over 180 years of heritage, the firm supports clients across the commercial, residential and public sectors, delivering services spanning property auctions, asset sales, valuations, consultancy and advisory. As part of the wider BTG group, it combines local market insight with national scale to help clients unlock value across property and business assets.
