There are many awesome restaurants in the area but I’d have to say my own backyard! I love to grill chicken from Harrison’s Poultry or fresh ground hamburgers from Forza Meats.
Pescadero in downtown Wilmette is one of my go-to spots. Their food is delicious and they have fresh oysters flown in daily.
Ten Mile House is hands down one of my favorites. It’s just down the street from the Metra and Northwestern’s football stadium, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I order the Pepper Jack Tater Tots and their smoked chicken.

Mino’s is my new favorite. They have great Italian food and I get the Tagliatelle Bolognese every time.
Guildhall in Glencoe is a great place to go for brunch. My family also loves Grateful Bites for pizza – It’s right in Hubbard Woods in Winnetka and always amazing!
You can’t go wrong with the crispy fish taco at Salt Creek Tacos. I also really enjoy Greenwood, which has a great kale salad and terrific mixed drinks.
