At AIS since 3K, Leela is now a junior in the IB Diploma Program and a competitive golfer.
What does AISx mean to you?
AISx is quality education with flexible scheduling. I never wanted to compromise my academics for athletics, but I also wanted a way to balance them. This has given me the opportunity to do both at the highest level that I can.
How does AISx work with your travel and competition schedule?
I travel a lot for tournaments, and they usually last three to four days, plus practice rounds. With AISx, I come to school most mornings and have my free blocks at the end of the day so I can leave early for practice.

I never wanted to compromise my academics for athletics.
Knowing I’m not missing as much class as I would if I were a regular DP student makes a big difference.
How has AISx helped you pursue your passion and stay on track academically?
I don’t have to compromise anything. There’s so much flexibility and ways to work around whatever your passion is.

AISx is the best program I’ve ever been part of. It allows me to continue my rigorous academics while performing the best that I can in my sport.
