As a Swedish artist living in London, my work is a dialogue between contemporary minimalism and the raw essence of nature.
I create pieces that reflect my ongoing exploration of organic materials and handcrafted processes — an approach that blends artistic expression with deep environmental awareness.
Each work incorporates natural elements I’ve gathered during my travels—earth, sand, stones, and fibres— infusing the canvas with textures and histories shaped by time.
These materials are not merely decorative; they are the substance and spirit of the work. By layering them into my compositions, I aim to create a sensory experience that invites the viewer into a quieter, more intimate connection with the natural world.
My aesthetic is rooted in subtlety: clean lines, muted tones, and an emphasis on materiality. The simplicity in form allows the complexity of nature to emerge, unfiltered and honest.
Sustainability and craftsmanship are integral to my practice, where the process — often slow and intuitive — is as significant as the outcome.
While much of my work has evolved through private commissions tailored to individual environments, creating independent series has allowed me to explore a more expansive artistic voice.
