The Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of BC (ASTTBC) regulates approximately 10,000 applied science and engineering technology professionals in British Columbia under the Professional Governance Act (PGA). ASTTBC protects the public by ensuring that technologists, technicians, and technical specialists practise safely, competently, and ethically. It registers, regulates, and when necessary, investigates and disciplines BC’s applied science and engineering technology professionals.
