ASPEN SNOWMASS GROUP TRAVEL SNOWMASS / ASPEN MOUNTAIN / ASPEN HIGHLANDS / BUTTERMILK
Whether you are planning a meeting, corporate retreat, ski club adventure, wedding or family celebration, our team is uniquely equipped to create an unforgettable experience that’s a perfect fit for your group.
WELCOME TO ASPEN SNOWMASS Whether you are planning an event for 20 or 1700, you’ll agree that one question matters most: how can you please everyone? It’s the age-old question in planning for a group, large or small. So many different tastes, so many different interests, so many different possibilities. Only a destination that does it all will suffice. Fortunately, Aspen Snowmass offers the complete package: a variety of venues for groups of all sizes, four mountains of extraordinary skiing and riding terrain, cuisine to please all palates, and a slopeside airport with free transportation around town to make logistics a snap. But what really matters most are the intangibles. Aspen Snowmass is a place to clear your mind, refresh your body, and renew your spirit. It’s a concept that has been deeply rooted in the community for decades and elevates your trip from memorable to inspirational and keeps you coming back.

ASPEN MOUNTAIN November 26, 2015 – April 17, 2016 There is no denying the unique personality of Aspen Mountain. Rising from the vibrant heart of downtown Aspen, this is where it all began nearly 70 years ago. While services and trails have been added over that time, the spirit of those early days persists. You may be skiing

Snowmass couldn’t have a more appropriate name. With 94 trails and an astonishing 4,400 feet (1,343 meters) of vertical from base to summit, secret stashes abound. You could spend your entire trip skiing and riding here without covering the same ground twice. But Snowmass is more than just awesome terrain. The Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center continues to delight families with its excellent, kid-centric programming and ski school. Mix that with the weekly bonfire and s’mores party known as Ullr Nights at Elk Camp, as well as abundant ski-in/skiout lodging options, and Snowmass emerges as an ideal base for any winter vacation.

COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT SUSTAINABILITY What’s the role of business in a climate changed world? Its got to be more than changing light bulbs and recycling, because smaller actions don’t scratch the surface of the problem. Instead, we need to respond with solutions that address this global challenge. That’s why we’ve joined a coalition of businesses to lobby on climate action, Businesses for Innovative Climate and Energy Policy (BICEP), and support fellow snowsports enthusiasts in their climate activism through Protect Our Winters. Our $6 million coal mine methane to energy project, pictured on page 23, is unique in the U.S. and makes as much electricity as our entire resort uses annually. It also destroys three times the greenhouse gases we produce.
PHILANTHROPY Last year we donated more than $2.6 million in cash and product to hundreds of local organizations working to improve our community. We also provide full-time year-round employees with two paid volunteer days.
ENVIRONMENT FOUNDATION Our employee-run Environment Foundation, with matching contributions from Aspen Skiing Company, Aspen Community Foundation, Keurig Green Mountain and Coca-Cola, has donated almost $2.6 million over the past 17 years to support local environmental causes like clean air and water, trail maintenance and energy efficiency. aspensnowmass.com/environment to learn more protectourwinters.org to join the battle ceres.org/bicep theenvironmentfoundation.org
