Every practitioner needs to set up their Ahpra portal before they can renew…

• Username is an email address unique to you

• Usernames will be shared in our emails

• Access Ahpra portal from home page

• Link a multifactor authenticator (MFA) app

• Use a password and MFA app to login

Authenticator apps protect your information

We recommend the Google Authenticator app as it works best with our system It is FREE Beware other apps that charge a fee Ahpra does not share personal information with MFA apps

First time logging in, you need to link the app to your portal

Two devices work best

You use the authenticator app to scan the QR code that appears on the Ahpra screen

Need to scan using the app, not your phone's camera

If you only have one device, copy and paste a code instead of scanning the QR code

Once connected, the app will generate a random 6-digit code It updates the code every 30 seconds

Don't delete the app – you need the 6-digit code every time you log in to your portal
