Welcome to our 24th edition of Asheboro Magazine – wow, two whole years have gone by since we launched the magazine. About 12 issues ago people finally stopped asking, “Aren’t you going to run out of things to write about in Asheboro?” I think they started to realize there is a lot going on in this town!
I recently got a chance to speak with Elizabeth Hudson, Editor of Our State magazine. She graciously agreed to be our Community Character this month and it was refreshing to find out we had so much in common. We shared stories, ideas and lunch at Bistro 42. I look forward to seeing her more often in Asheboro, as she had some great things to say about the changes that have been taking place here.
