In 2012, Ascension launched the Leadership Academy as a venue for high potential senior leaders to cultivate strategic capabilities required to lead our one integrated ministry now and into the future. Ascension Leadership Academy calls individuals to develop as a community of virtuous servant leaders. Through their membership, leaders serve Ascension as a Ministry of the Church, facilitating critical organizational development and changes in organizational culture that advance our Mission. The program's architecture includes six three-day residential sessions spanning over 2 years, in-field assignments, unique immersion experiences, group innovation pilot projects, energy management principles, and a dedicated sponsorship network for each Member. The integrated approach is designed to enable Members to lead transformational change within Ascension.
