BETTER BUYING POWER FOR SCHOOLS Term 1, 2025 | Summer Issue Thinking Smarter in 2025 As we come to the end of another school year, I am sure school leaders everywhere are looking forward to a wellearned rest. Tighter budgets and staff shortages have tested all schools to achieve their goals this year, and there will be little difference in 2025. During the year ASCA has introduced a number of school suppliers to you that are able to help in business process improvement – working smarter rather than longer. We forecast a continuing trend for schools to upgrade systems and to look for smart partnerships and collaborations. We are pleased to announce that from the beginning of 2025, The School Photographer will join ASCA’s select group of School Supplier partners that we recommend to our members as the providers of best value in their category of products and services.

The School Photographer is of course well known by all schools for the quality of their work with school photography and year books. However, it is perhaps less well known to some as being an excellent provider of promotional and marketing services. Smart use of video and visual images, well designed websites, and effective use of social media, all can enhance communication with current and prospective parents, as well as the community generally. Read this Newsletter to hear how authentic video story telling is now a must to connect with families in an engaging way. Also included is a special offer from the School Photographer for your virtual school tour video. Finally, all of us at ASCA wish all our member schools a happy festive season and a successful 2025. David Edwards - ASCA CEO.
