Celebrate Canteen Week is a great opportunity for schools to pause and recognise the important contribution their canteen makes to the wider school community. From supporting student wellbeing and healthy food choices, to creating welcoming spaces and contributing to school culture, canteens play a far bigger role than many people realise. We encourage schools to take this opportunity to acknowledge their canteen managers, caterers and teams — please talk to your Principal about this.
