The power of community

As we head into Term 3, ASCA is pleased to share that we have recently finalised our charitable contributions for the 2024/2025 financial year, through the ASCA Education Foundation. This year, thanks to the support of our members, we have been able to donate a record amount to our 10 Charity partners and have even facilitated an additional contribution to the Clontarf Foundation, who do extraordinarily impactful work with indigenous boys improving their outcomes including attending school. We sincerely thank you for your ongoing support which allows us to facilitate this much needed support the vulnerable children.

Celebrate Canteen Week continues to be a wonderful opportunity for you all to pat yourselves on the back for your hard work and contribution to the school community. Thank you for all the pictures shared and interactions on our Facebook page. We are aiming to make this bigger each year!

ASCA’s priority remains to ensure

that School Canteens and Tuck Shops remain financially viable, so we encourage you to take full advantage of the specials available to you in this newsletter from our supplier partners, along with your monthly ASCA Calendar specials and the savings to be gained by optimising your ASCA Rewards points.

Lastly, to those of you reading this Newsletter digitally online - thank you! We would like our Canteens to Opt-out of printed Newsletters in favour of Opting-in to SMS notifications and having your Newsletter delivered instantly to you in digital format. This will allow us to provide improved Newsletter content in the way of videos and interactive material. Of course, if you really want a printed version, you can advise us of that - but we ask that all members let us know either way, please - you’ll find a QR code inside this newsletter.

ASCA has partnered with Galipo because they are the preferred food service supplier for schools in your region. This means that Galipo understands the service needs of schools and has a wide range of products and pack sizes suitable for school canteens.

ASCA works with Galipo to increase the range of products required by school canteens so that you can order most of your needs through one supplier thereby minimising numbers of orders, deliveries and invoices.

Keep an eye out for our preferred supplier specials in this newsletter – remember purchasing from these suppliers will maximise your canteen’s profitability.
