Hi..!!
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY As an architect working across both architecture and interiors, I see design as a balance between

intent, experience, and execution. Great design should make its audience pause and ask: how was this achieved? That question, sitting at the edge of the familiar and the unexpected, is where I find the most compelling design opportunities. I am particularly interested in how architectural elements can be reinterpreted within interior environments. Features such as terracotta jaalis, metal baffles, and façade-derived surfaces — when adapted thoughtfully — create workplaces that feel both contextual and distinct. I see the boundary between architecture and interiors as a space to explore, not a line to stop at. Working in corporate interiors has reinforced a belief I hold firmly: design does not end at concept — it must withstand reality. Coordination pressures, material constraints, and site conditions are the true test of design intent. A successful project is one where that intent is carried through to completion without dilution. My approach integrates cultural narrative, technical resolution, and buildability into a single coordinated process — where concept and execution evolve together rather than exist as separate phases. In corporate environments, I believe design must prioritise people over spectacle. Spaces should support usability, collaboration, and wellbeing as a fundamental part of design intent — not as an afterthought.
INSPIRATION & BELIEF My design inspiration is rooted in context — the history, culture, and material identity of a place. I aim to integrate these regional influences with the core values of a brand, creating spaces that are both locally grounded and aligned with organisational identity. By thoughtfully integrating local materials, native colour palettes, and regional craftsmanship, I translate these broader cultural narratives into the minute, tactile details of a corporate environment, ensuring the space feels both globally aligned and locally anchored. This approach means no two projects carry the same visual language — because no two places, or brands, are the same. Context is not decoration — it is structure I believe exceptional design is anchored in culture, proven through execution, and measured by human experience. A successful space honours its regional context, survives the complexity of its making, and ultimately belongs to the people who inhabit it — not as a visual statement, but as a lived one.

Typology - Corporate workspace Interiors Location - Hyderabad Timeline - 2023 - 2025
The LTIMindtree Hyderabad workplace is conceived as a contemporary corporate environment rooted in cultural context — one that brings global workplace standards into dialogue with the richness of regional identity. Moving beyond conventional office planning, the project creates a space that is inclusive, engaging, and experientially layered. The intent is a workplace that performs functionally while reflecting a strong sense of place, connecting users to Hyderabad's cultural fabric without compromising a global organisational outlook.

LAYOUT PLANNING The floor plans across all levels are developed around a unified planning concept, with a central spine serving as the primary circulation and organisational axis. This spine connects the key functional zones, improves wayfinding and creates a consistent spatial experience throughout the building. Major design elements are strategically integrated along this axis and customised to reflect the specific function, character and identity of each floor, ensuring overall design consistency while giving every level a distinct visual expression.
CONCEPT & MATERIALS The design reinterprets Hyderabad’s Indo-Islamic architecture and living craft traditions within a contemporary workplace. Arches, jaalis, symmetry, and rhythmic geometries shape movement, zoning, and spatial order, while crafts such as Kalamkari, Telangana folk art, Kondapalli, Tholu Bommalu, and Bidri influence texture, colour, perforation, and detail. The result is a workspace where cultural expression is embedded into the material and spatial language — globally relevant in function, yet deeply rooted in Hyderabad’s identity.
LAYOUT
Layers of Identity: A Cultural Journey Through LTIMindtree Metro STPI, Hyderabad At LTIMindtree Metro STPI, Hyderabad, each floor tells a distinct story. The design draws from the art forms, crafts, and cultural practices indigenous to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh — not as a uniform theme applied across the campus, but as a deliberate layering of regional narratives, one per floor. Taken together, these chapters form a cohesive journey through place and identity, where the building itself becomes a means of cultural expression. Collab space - 3rd Floor
Designing with Purpose: Beyond Aesthetics The design balances heritage with functionality. Clear spatial hierarchies define zones for collaboration, focus, and social interaction, with jute rugs and warm finishes marking active areas while workstations remain neutral — enabling seamless transitions between individual and group work. Locally sourced wood, natural fabrics, and indoor plants reflect the practice's sustainability ethos, supporting both ecological responsibility and employee wellness.

Regional materials — rubberwood, cane, jute, and handwoven fabrics — were chosen for their cultural and ecological relevance. Local block-printing artisans created custom fabric panels whose hand-carved designs were adapted into frosted glass graphics, building a visual language that bridges craft and architecture. The result is a workspace where culture, community, and materiality come together — transforming the everyday work environment into a canvas of regional storytelling. This integration of culture, craft, and community transforms the office into a canvas of regional storytelling — where everyday work is embedded in an environment that resonates with the people and land it represents.

CONCEPT & MATERIALS
Moodboard
The guiding concept draws from Bangalore's historical relationship between built form and nature. Traditional elements — verandahs, courtyards, and shaded transitions — are reinterpreted into modern workplace typologies, creating a spatial experience that balances openness with enclosure.

Rather than rigid zoning, the design adopts a fluid planning approach: corridors become transitional verandahs, breakout areas act as informal courtyards, and workspaces are interwoven with pockets of greenery and natural light. The result is a workplace envisioned as a garden retreat within a corporate framework — where hospitality-like spaces such as workcafés and informal seating reinforce a shift towards a human-centred, experience-driven environment.

CONCEPT & MATERIALS
Typology - Corporate workspace Interiors Location - Bangalore Timeline - Nov ‘25 - Feb ’26 Area - 96,766 sqft Zoning Layout - 8th floor
The design concept is guided by the idea of “Everyday Warmth”, where the workspace reflects the simplicity, familiarity, and accessibility of neighborhood retail environments. This approach ensures that the office feels intuitive and welcoming rather than formal or rigid. Spatial planning emphasizes openness and connectivity, with a clear zoning strategy that seamlessly integrates workstations, collaboration zones, and breakout areas. The layouts for both floors demonstrate a balanced distribution of focused and interactive spaces, ensuring flexibility and adaptability across teams. The concept also introduces a subtle layering of experiences—transitioning from structured work zones to relaxed social hubs —encouraging movement, interaction, and a dynamic work culture. Elements like workcafés, informal seating, and breakout pods reinforce this narrative by blurring the boundaries between work and social engagement.
The Albertsons workplace is conceived as a contemporary corporate environment where functionality meets warmth—efficient in operation, yet emotionally engaging in experience. Grounded in the brand's community-driven values, the design takes cues from everyday retail familiarity—approachable, human, and rooted in the rhythms of neighborhood life—translated into a polished workplace setting. The intent is a space that nurtures collaboration, comfort, and productivity, while carrying a cohesive visual identity that speaks to every user, across functions and hierarchies alike. The design celebrates the site's continuous grid of exposed I-section beams rather than concealing it, using the structure as a framework for spatial identity. Linear lights fixed beneath each beam create clean, uninterrupted lines, while drum pendants in the inter-beam zones soften the composition. MEP and HVAC services are coordinated with the beam layout — ducts routed through beam cut-outs, raceways concealed within corridor gypsum ceilings — with duct sizes resolved early to align with beam openings.

The modular workstation layout is punctuated by Y-shaped workstations and a 4-seater discussion table, forming a formal collaboration zone complemented by informal pockets throughout. These areas are distinguished by carpet flooring and a suspended blue designer ceiling element that introduces the brand colour into the space. The ceiling comprises a two-part modular system of acoustic PET panels with a removable grid — a practical response to the additional beams above, ensuring unobstructed maintenance access.
