Natural Finesse is known for being a modern feeding method with a large variety of balanced, tasty mixes. Natural Finesse is based on the latest feed findings. This range is ideal for pigeon fanciers who prefer a simple but efficient feeding method. The Natural Finesse system and the Natural Finesse mixes have been tested by many pigeon fanciers in several top lofts. We have compiled the Natural Finesse mixes based on our knowledge and experience of the nutritional needs of pigeons during the breeding, moulting and rest periods, as well as the sporting season. Each local market has specific products and habits. In an increasingly global world, anyone can benefit from this knowledge. The current compositions are also enriched with both burgundy and black maize, which is very beneficial for the health and performance of the pigeon. Breeding You should take the following into account when feeding pigeons during the breeding season: The only way to guarantee strong youngsters is to ensure the breeding pigeons are given the best preparation before pairing, and then to provide them with the proper care during the breeding season. A balanced diet is one of the most important ingredients to ensure the best results from breeding. We advise giving Natural Finesse Breeding from ten days before pairing. It is also advisable from that moment to give the breeding pigeons Naturamine+ alternated with Kolombavit in their drinking water for at least two days a week. If the breeding pigeons are cared for in this way, they will lay eggs without problems and pass on their best qualities to their young. During the breeding period, it is important to give them Vitamineral, Grit and Picking Stone every day. Finesse Mineral Mix is a good alternative and is a total package of minerals and vitamins in one product. Thanks to the highly varied composition of Natural Finesse Breeding, and the small form factor of the ingredients, this feed is digested perfectly. This ensures the pigeons receive the right dose of proteins necessary to breed successfully. After the breeding pigeons have switched from pigeon milk to grain feed, and the cock begins to take an interest in the hen again, mix Garlic Oil or X’tra Oil into the Natural Finesse Breeding and dry the mixture with Vitaminor or NutriPowder+. Wait about an hour before feeding the pigeons to allow the mixture to dry. Feed young pigeons Finesse Light in combination with Natural Finesse Breeding from three weeks after weaning. Add up to 33% of Performance 20 into the mixes. This concentrate is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. Both the breeding pigeons and the youngsters will benefit from this. These proteins also ensure optimal growth of the young birds. Useful info: 25 days after hatching, the youngsters are already 100 times heavier! Feed Natural Finesse Breeding from weaning until the end of May. The youngsters are subject to a special type of stress. The feed given to young pigeons should be switched from Natural Finesse Breeding to Finesse Youngsters from the beginning of June. Ensure the drinking water is changed daily to ensure it is of the best quality. By acidifying it slightly, you can avoid bacteriological pollution and stimulate the intestinal flora of the pigeon. Aqua Care can be combined with Naturaline without any problems whatsoever.

Racing You should take the following into account when feeding pigeons during the racing season: A. Fast recovery To recover quickly after the race, widowers or hens are first given one meal supplemented with Nutri Powder+. This Spirulina-enriched powder contains easily digestible proteins, amino acids, lipids and carbohydrates. Add Kolombasol or Electrolit and Naturamine+ to the drinking water so the pigeons can recover quickly and their muscles remain in top condition. Only muscles working optimally can absorb and release energy.

B. Load the muscles with energy See the feeding schedules linked to the flight distances. Natural offers 3 specific sports mixes within the Finesse range: “Sport, Sprint & Marathon”. Use this in conjunction with “Light & Depurative” after returning home from a flight. And use “Wizard & Energy” as preparation for the next race. These easily-digestible sports mixes give the pigeon all the energy it needs. This is thanks to the small seed sizes and four different top-quality maizes: French cribs, bordeaux, popcorn and black maize. The bordeaux and black maizes are rich in anti-oxidants, which translates into better cell protection and faster recovery of the muscles after exertion. The ideal balance between cereals and seeds in the Natural Finesse mixes guarantees high absorption, as long as you use it up to the very last race. Moisten the feed with Garlic Oil or X’tra Oil during the second half of the week. This product contains 10 types of oil, vitamin E and lecithin. As a result, the ingredients containing fat in this mixture are more quickly converted into as much energy as possible. Then dry the mixture with Vitaminor brewer’s yeast. It contains more than 25% fat to give the pigeon an extra energy boost. Pigeons have a fat metabolism. This means that they get most of their energy from fats. Fat is the most important fuel for a pigeon’s metabolism and the main energy source for the animal’s pectoral muscles. The right fatty acids also play a crucial role in building the general condition and resistance of pigeons. This energy type can be released into the pigeon’s body very quickly when it needs a quick “energy boost”. This is important for short, intense exertion such as when the pigeon takes off after release, or when it climbs, lands, dodges obstacles and accelerates. Why does Finesse Wizard & Energy contain so many sunflower seeds and kardi? Kardi and hulled sunflower seeds are not only rich in easily-digestible, high-quality proteins, they also contain a lot of oil, phosphorus and many other vitamins.

C. Healthy pigeons Healthy pigeons perform better. But keeping pigeons healthy does not mean filling them with medication. It is better to maintain the pigeons’ natural resistance by supplementing their feed with simple nutritional supplements. Moulting/Rest Take the following into account when feeding pigeons during the moulting and resting season: Moulting is a difficult period for pigeons. After the uninterrupted exertions of the racing season, the pigeon’s body needs to rest, but pigeons replace all their feathers during this period. As a result, they need a lot of essential amino acids so they can grow a new set of feathers. Feathers mainly contain mineralised proteins such as keratin, which is rich in sulphur. This is why pigeons need all the necessary nutrients to meet these needs. Cheap mixes do not have a balanced composition or contain sufficient amino acids such as methionine and cysteine. The percentage of small seeds, sunflower seeds and carbohydrates provides the correct amount of these crucial amino acids. A good moult is the basis for good continuation to breeding. It is important the pigeons are in a healthy condition when they start moulting. Finesse Moulting contains the ideal ratio of nutrients your pigeon requires. After moulting, switch to Finesse Winter & Rest. And for silky soft feathers, we recommend the following Natural by-products: • Naturamine+: a tonic full of minerals, trace elements and important amino acids. • Naturaline: a concentrated extract of fifteen different plants and herbs. • Kolombavit: a highly concentrated multivitamin complex with exceptional properties. • Garlic Oil & X’tra Oil: essential fatty acids cannot be produced by the pigeon itself and must therefore be provided as a supplement. Show pigeons come in all shapes and sizes. It is advisable to choose a good feed according to both the nature of the show pigeon and the desired activity. Of course, there are different needs according to the season. The need for protein is higher during breeding and moulting season than during the rest of the year. Natural Red Stone

Rich in minerals and trace-elements The Natural Red Stone is rich in minerals and trace elements and pigeons just love picking on it. The Natural Red Stone is made of clay fired at very high temperatures (over 1.000°C) in a special furnace, before being ground. The Natural Red Stone is also one of the ingredients of the Natural Hi-Calcium Grit which consists of oyster shells, silex and red stone. Before and after laying hens are in urgent need for it. Concentrated extract of selected plants and greens The component plants and greens of Natural Naturaline have been carefully selected for their beneficial effects on the respiratory, digestive and urinary tracts. In addition to its active ingredients, this decoction contains many other substances that appear to contribute to the specific action of the treatments since they can accelerate or slow up their assimilation by the digestive system. Natural Naturaline keeps pH-values naturally at the proper level. The component plants and greens of Natural Naturaline have been carefully selected for their beneficial effects on the respiratory, digestive and urinary tracts. That is why pigeons that regularly receive Natural Naturaline in their drinking water present a rosy skin, indicating that their blood is pure and free from toxins. Natural Electrolit

A mixture of electrolytes and glucose for rapid recovery after a flight It is very important to give pigeons Natural Electrolit on their return from a race. The heightened metabolism and substantial exertion of the pigeon in flight result in numerous waste products. In the elimination of urea, uric and phosphoric acid, lactic and carbonic acid, mainly sodium ions are consumed and elimination is therefore dependent on the quantity of these ions available to the pigeon. Water loss is also appreciable during flight. For all these reasons it is important to give pigeons Natural Electrolit on their return from a race. This energy-drink effectively compensates water and electrolyte depletion and progressively restores the acid-base equilibrium. It also represents an immediate energy gain (glucose), which markedly shortens the recovery period. Diseases such as adenovirosis and paramyxovirosis cause diarrhoea resulting in a major loss of minerals and water loss. Natural Electrolit prevents dehydration caused by diarrhoea and accelerates the recovery from a disease. Natural Electrolit can also be mixed with Natural Tea and Natural Naturaline.

Instructions for use DOSAGE • 240 g packing: 1 bag of Electrolit per litre of drinking water. • 750 g packing: 1 measure of Electrolit per litre of drinking water. MAINTENANCE SCHEME ON THE RETURN OF A RACE Mix Natural Electrolit in the drinking water and leave it at their disposal until after the evening meal. THE DAY OF BASKETING The pigeons that take part in long-distance and very long distance races are under way for several days and nights. It is essential that these pigeons are basketed with sufficient reserves of electrolytes (body minerals). This is why we advise to mix Natural Electrolit to the drinking water on the day of basketing. IN CASE OF SEVERE, WATERY DIARRHOEA Administer Natural Electrolit until the droppings return to normal again.

Natural ITEC Special Mite Parasite-Resistant Protection

Specially developed against red poultry red mites (Dermanyssus gallinae). Poultry red mites feed on the blood of pigeons at night, creating situations of stress, irritation, and susceptibility to disease— with a negative impact on health and performance. Based on amorphous, nano-silicone dioxide—a very fine powder (such as diatomaceous earth) that has mechanical protective effects against mites and their larvae (no chemical effect!). Also suitable against feather mites, fleas, lice, etc. The fine distribution makes it possible to treat places that are almost inaccessible. Dries quickly and leaves a light white haze. An efficient, useful and practical cleaning product for pigeon lofts A powerful absorbent and desinfectant made of finely ground chalk. Natural Bath Salt

For improved hygiene of the feathers Natural Bath Salt is a highly quality product aimed at satisfying the most demanding pigeon fancier. The raw materials used in its production are the same as those used in bath salts for human consumption.There will not be any blue or yellow tingeing, as no chemical colouring is used in its composition and only natural pine extracts are used. Natural Bath Salt gives a soft, smooth plumage and rids the epidermis of any flakiness (dandruff ) without irritating the skin. It tones up and stimulates the organism when administered in a cold bath. However, it relaxes the muscles and accelerates the recovery process at the return of races if the bath is warm. It is thus the ideal product for pigeon fanciers used to give their pigeons a warm bath when they return from races. Its natural disinfecting action provides a good body hygiene and rids the plumage of vermin. We therefore recommend you add Natural Bath Salt to the bath water once or twice a month during moulting as it is important for the growth of new feathers not be disturbed by parasites. This is particularly important during the moulting period as the tonic effect of the Natural Bath Salt stimulates blood circulation and helps the moulting of the downfeathers.
