CELEBRATE SPRING, SUPPORT THE JERUSALEM BIENNALE
The Jerusalem Biennale has launched their Spring Biennale Sale Day. The selection of artworks is a fantastic mix of contemporary painting, photography, sculpture and mixed-media from established and emerging Israeli and Jewish artists. Payment is made via the Biennale, with 100% of the proceeds going to the artists.
The Jerusalem Biennale is the largest platform in the world for contemporary Jewish and Israeli art. Founded in 2013
by Ram (Rami) Ozeri, the Biennale is dedicated to exploring the places where contemporary art meets the Jewish and Israeli experience. The Biennale is committed to showcasing thought-provoking and soul-inspiring exhibitions and events that speak to exactly now.

ANTON
GINZBURG DELVES INTO AI AND ITS DIVERSE SPHERE OF INFLUENCE
Artist Anton Ginzburg, known for his films, sculptures, paintings, and two-dimensional works centered on historical narratives and modernist forms, explores artificial intelligence in his latest exhibition 'Surface' at Contemporary Calgary. The show is currently on view through June 16, 2024.
Coinciding with the exhibition, on May 25th, Contemporary Calgary hosts LOOK: THE DADA BALL, celebrating its 10th anniversary with an eclectic mix of entertainment, fashion, and art experiences. Honorary chairs include Marcel Dzama, Faye HeavyShield, and Morris
and Ann Dancyger. Ginzburg has donated a painting to the auction. Surface is on view in the Observatory Gallery, donated by Holocaust Survivor Morris Dancynger and Ann Dancyger.

CAPTURING ISRAELI ADOLESCENCE: 'ROSEWATER' BY SARAH MEITAL BENJAMIN AT TEL AVIV CINEMATHEQUE.
Sarah Meital Benjamin’s first solo show, Rosewater, focusing on Israeli adolescence and curated by Galia Schechter, is on view at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque through May 1.
All proceeds from the sale of the works at the exhibition will be donated to Kibbutz Kerem Shalom and the surrounding area victims.

Artist Zoë Buckman announces Whitney Museum's acquisition of her 2023 work, "Song's Leak from My Bedroom Wall," with overwhelming enthusiasm on Instagram.
The embroidered textile piece depicting an intimate moment between the artist and her sister-in-law, was featured in Buckman's 2023 exhibition, 'Tended' at Lyles & King in New York.
The acquisition was made possible with support from curator Rujeko Hockley and patron LaVon Kellner.

ISRAELIJAZZ PROJECT
Initiated in 2018, the IsraeliJazz project aims to promote the worldwide success of Israeli jazz.
A major exhibition and series of conferences are taking place in Paris through April 18, in Montpellier in June 2024 and Tel Aviv in October 2024.
An art book will be released this summer (in French and English) with biographies and photographs of 80 musicians, as well as the history of Israeli jazz since the 1930s .
Forthcoming programming includes events in the United States as well as the production of a movie.

AN EPIC CALIFORNIA WEDDING FOR ARTIST AUSTYN WEINER AND CEO DYLAN LEWIS
Mazel Tov to artist Austyn Weiner and CEO Dylan Lewis of Blue Cloud Movie Ranch who tied the knot under the chuppah Saturday, April 6 at the Art Ranch in Los Angeles.
The bride's creativity studded the event with details like a Vivianne Westwood veil embroidered with her original designs and silk pocket squares for guests donned with her paintings.
Guests danced the horrah amongst the California hillside and had their
portraits painted by artist Joel Mesler. The groom’s jacket was covered with Mesler's’ famous rabbi drawings.
The Art Ranch was acquired as a film location by the groom. For the event, artists including Jen Stark, along with the bride, adorned the grounds with murals and sculptures.
