Jacqueline Scotcher Drawing from the northern NSW hinterland, these works explore the ever-changing relationship between land, sky and self. Fog, clouds, moonlight and dusk soften the boundaries of the landscape, creating a sense of awe, optimism and connection. Through layered brushstrokes, smudged forms and a grounding horizon, the paintings evolve intuitively, reflecting how experiences accumulate over time to create an internal and deeply felt sense of place.
