We are delighted to present this group of recent acquisitions at the XXVI Biennale des Antiquaires. Richard Green has a forty-year association with this most elegant of fairs, held in the Grand Palais built for the Universal Exposition of 1900. Our 2012 selection of paintings, spanning from the Old Masters to the twenty- rst century, re ects the position of Paris as a rich repository of European art and the vitality of French painting down the ages. Almost every artist represented in this catalogue can be explored further in the city’s superb museums.
