Master of Painting
The principle of non-interpretation of the minimalists has become the plural interpretation of Carlos Salas. Everything is possible then in his pictorial world. Hence, he paints pictures that have to be explored, forcing us to move without losing sight of the painted surface, so wide that we do not cover its entirety with three, nor four, nor five glances, a visual elusiveness that motivates the observer and forces him to participate in the play. Undoubtedly, the least is the picture and the most is the painting. Carlos Salas is a painter and not a simple maker of paintings.
The difference between the two attitudes is evident and it is precisely this difference, when the painting has lost its effectiveness in the hands of "artists" without imagination, that enhances the seriousness and density of the contributions of Carlos Salas, born in 1957 near the San Agustin Archeological park.
His artists have exhibited in galleries and institutions of international relevance such as: White Box (New York), MOCA (Miami), MAMBO (Bogotá), Casa Américas, Palacio Linares (Madrid). They also have participation in different fairs worldwide, such as: ARCO (Madrid), ArtBo (Bogotá), Seoul Contemporary Art (Korea), Pinta (Miami), MACO (Mexico), among others.
His works are part of large public and private collections around the world such as: Museum of Contemporary Art Sofía Imber (Venezuela), Museum of Latin American Art (United States), Museum of Contemporary Art (Colombia), Bank of Spain Collection (Spain), Bank of the Republic Collection(Colombia), Pérez Museum Collection (Miami).
Undoubtedly, the least is the picture and the most is the painting. Carlos Salas is a painter and not a simple maker of paintings.

The work of Alejandro de Narváez transcends the conventional limits of art by encompassing both painting and monumental sculptural work and its three-dimensionality that dominate the space with its imposing presence.
Each piece is a manifestation of his artistic explorations, a convergence of shapes and volumes that fuse reality with subjective interpretation.
Narváez's passion for challenging expectations and exploring new artistic possibilities is clearly reflected in his large-format sculptures that provide the environment with an unbreakable visual dialogue. The interaction between the work and the viewer is unique and captivating, as the imposing forms invite deep contemplation and a tangible connection with artistic expression. Meticulously sculpted details allow each work to gradually reveal itself, revealing layers of meaning and emotion.
His work has been exhibited in the United States at different events and galleries:
Metropolitan Gallery, New York, Art Miami, Miami, Miami University, Beach Art Fair, Art Miami, Francisco Nader, Cesarea Gallery, Boca Raton, Jorge Sori Gallery, Miami, Wally Findlay Gallery, George Nader Gallery, West Palm Beach, Art Fair, NEXT 2010 Art Chicago, Miami International Art Fair, Miami Beach Convention Center.
His most recent work includes a series of Nature and Movement

Painting is a way to live twice. In this series some elements form an idea of a universe, whose veins are a line of silence.
