Artisan Design Studio is owned by principal designer, Ryan Williams. She has been practicing interior design for over 20 years and has been a business owner for more than 10 of those. Ryan's goal on all of her projects is to learn about her clients and their families to ensure that she's not only creating beautiful spaces for them, but also improving their mental,physicalandemotionalwellbeing.Sheprides herself on being the expert in the room, but also a friendatthetable.
Ryan graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Furnishings & Interiors from the University of Georgia.
She is an Atlanta native and currently lives with her husband and two children in Roswell. On Saturdays, you’ll find her cheering them on at baseball, swim team&cheerleading.
In her free time, she sits on the board of the Professional Women in Homebuilding Council for The AtlantaHomeBuildersAssociation,isontheselection committeeforSunshineonaRanneyDayandenjoys designing accessible bedrooms, bathrooms & therapy rooms for the Sunshine kids, is a Roswell RotarianandisontheboardofBeTHEVoice.

The Minimum Expenditure
(this applies mostly to furnishings projects)
Eachfullservicedesignprojectwillincludeaminimumexpenditureontangible elementsfortheproject.Thisexpenditurecanincludefurnishings,rugs,lighting, customwindowtreatments,artwork,bedding,etc.Thisisnotabudgetpersebuta minimumagreeduponamounttoengageourresources.Pleasenotethat minimumexpendituresdonotincludesalestax,freightordelivery&installation.
Project Management - Hourly
Projectmanagementtimeisbilledmonthly.Projectmanagementincludes unplannedorunpredictableon-sitemeetingtimewithyourcontractor, subcontractors,etc.Becausemanyon-sitemeetingsinvolveothervendors,weare notalwaysincontrolofthetimelinesorfrequencyofthesemeetings,sounless notedinyourscope,thistimeisbilledseparatelyfromtheprojectdesignfee.

Ratherthanbillingatanhourlyrateforthedesignprocess,thisflatfeegivesour clientsabetterideafromthebeginningoftheprojectofwhatwillberequiredtodo thebestjobontheirbehalf.Thisfeeisdevelopedbyconsiderationofourhistorical dataofsimilarprojects,thesize&scopeofworkoutlinedandourestimatedtimeto completethedeliverables.

Weprideourselvesonourrelationshipsandourcommunication withcontractors,whetheryou'reusingoneofourrecommended contractorsoryourown.Wepromisetoplaywellwitheveryone!
Somecontractorswhohaveworkedwithdesigners(notus!)inthe pastfearthatwemaycomplicatetheprocess.That'ssimplynot truewithArtisanDesignStudio.Wehelpyoustayonbudget,on timelineandensureyouarehappywithhowyourprojectturnsout. Yourcontractorwillfinishtheprojectwithlessstress,happier clientsandaprojecttheywillbeproudtoaddtotheirportfolio.
Wearenotlicensedcontractors,andassuch,wecannotcontrol subschedules&timelines.Wedoworkcloselywithyourcontractor andtheirsubcontractorstomaintainopencommunicationabout timelines
Weareveryconscientiouswhenworkingwithsubsorcontractorsand onlyworkwithandrecommendthosewetrustinourownhomes.We donotwarrantytheirworkorassumeanyliabilityfortheir performance.

ArtisanDesignStudioisnotresponsibleforpriceincreasesorstock changesduetodelayininvoicepayment.Reselectionduetolack ofpaymentisnotincludedinyourdesignfeeandwillbebilledat ourstandardhourlyrate($200)priortoreplacementitemsbeing ordered

Receiving,inspection&storagefeeswillaccrueoverthe courseoftheprojectandwillbebilledattheendofthe project.
Freightisdifficulttoestimateinadvancewithfluctuatingfuel costsandsurcharges.Wearehappytodoourbestto estimatefreightcharges,butallfreight/shippingchargeswill beaddedtoyourfinalinstallationinvoice
Deliverychargestothejobsitewillbeaddedtofinal installationinvoice.Wewilldoourbesttominimizethe numberoftripsnecessarytodelivery,butwillalwaysallowour clientstoaddadditionaldeliverieswhendesired.Ifanyitemis backorderedandpotentiallyaffectingtheinstalldaytimeline, wewilldiscussoptions&applicablecostswithourclients
