In Praise of Mothers | Various Artists
“In Praise of Mothers”, an online exhibition of Galerie Raphael in time for Mother’s Day, is a celebration of maternity in many forms, a chronicle of the wonders of motherhood, and a depiction of how ordinary women become something extraordinary as mothers.
The works explore various female stereotypes, but the most obvious is the appreciation of mothers, of her innate ability to nurture, teach, and love.
The special pieces in this exhibit serve as a reminder to the audience how moving and revelatory being a mother can be.
