History of Armoured One

Armoured One Security Manufacturing and Training Company Armoured One LLC is a Syracuse-based security manufacturing and training company specializing in protecting K-12 schools from active shooter threats. Founded in 2012 by retired homicide detective and SWAT operator Tom Czyz, Armoured One emerged in direct response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. Although that tragic event demonstrated one of the fastest police response times in U.S. history, it also exposed the vulnerability of even well-prepared schools. Czyz’s founding vision was clear from day one: delay or prevent entry by an attacker and give staff and first responders the critical minutes needed to save lives.
