WINTER: THE IDEAL TIME TO CAST ARMCON PRECAST ARMBLOCKS Winter may slow down concrete pouring on site, but it’s the perfect season to get ahead with Armcon Precast Armblocks. Casting Armblocks during the colder months allows businesses to organise or reorganise their yards, bays, and aggregate storage areas well before the busy concrete pouring season begins. By planning ahead, you can ensure your site is efficient, tidy, and ready to perform when demand increases. Armblocks are a simple yet effective solution for creating clearly defined bays for aggregates, materials, and waste. Producing them in winter means that once spring arrives, your yard infrastructure is already in place—saving valuable time when operations ramp up and reducing disruption during peak periods. To support winter casting, thermal blankets play a key role. These blankets help maintain the correct curing temperature during colder days, protecting the concrete from frost and ensuring consistent strength and quality. With the right preparation and protection, Armblocks can be cast reliably throughout winter, turning a traditionally quieter period into a productive one. Investing time in Armblock production now means a smoother, more organised, and more efficient concrete pouring season ahead.
