From The Park: The Bush Dogs Have Landed!
The Lake District Wildlife Park is over the moon to welcome our newest residents: a group of mischievous Bush Dogs.
These cheeky creatures are a joy to observe, even if they spent their first few days in their new home ripping up the pond liner in their habitat…Thankfully, the pond is now lined with concrete, allowing the Bush Dogs to swim to their heart’s content.
Our lovely keepers have also decided to add some ropes to the trees, so these wonderful creatures have something else to chew, pull and rip!
Exciting updates
We are also pleased to announce that we now have an osprey webcam installed, so you can see these beautiful birds enjoying their natural habitat at any time you like over at lakedistrictwildlifepark.co.uk
The park is also now home to two magnificent White-Tailed Eagles, also known as Sea Eagles. The perfect pair of siblings, these birds are the largest native birds of prey in Britain

Held in the cosy Yurt at the Lake District Wildlife Park, enjoy a soothing, sensory experience designed to boost wellbeing, ease anxiety, and encourage connection — all by the warmth of the log burner.

- Ball of wool and crochet hook to take home
- 2-hour spa session with towel hire
