About Me

I’ve been connected to the outdoors for as long as I can remember. I started mowing lawns when I was eight, not realizing that those small jobs were the beginning of something bigger. As I got older, I found myself drawn to the construction side of landscapes, seeing how spaces are built, shaped, and brought to life. That curiosity kept growing, right alongside my love for being outside, whether I’m hiking through the woods or jumping out of a plane.

Landscape architecture became the place for where all of that comes together for me.

01 Building Common Ground

About

In partnership with SquashSmarts, a Philadelphia nonprofit that helps public school students grow through academic support, mentorship, and the sport of squash. Our team explored ways to better serve youth in North Philadelphia’s Hunting Park neighborhood. Through extensive site analysis, we identified an abundance of vacant lots as both a challenge and an opportunity. Our design vision focuses on reconnecting the youth in Hunting Park to their community through the third spaces. Creating engaging environments beyond home and school that encourage play, creativity, and self-expression. Underutilized lots will be transformed into active, community driven spaces designed to foster a sense of ownership, purpose, and meaningful connection through inclusive, youth centered programming.

Hinge of Germantown

About

This project is centered on working directly with the Germantown community to imagine a one acre field based on the needs, stories, and everyday experiences of the people who use it. The process emphasized showing up, listening, and actively participating within the community. Through that collaboration, idea of finding a “why” in design truly came to life.

Candelo Urban Link Design Competition

In collaboration with Shirley Qian & Elizabeth Heinz

About

Candelo is a town that is shaped by its rich history. To honor that, this project transforms that legacy into a functional and meaningful public space. The design introduces an ADA accessible ramp and community plaza that draw inspiration from the movement, memory, and fluidity of water, creating a landscape that is both educational and welcoming. By integrating accessibility with subtle historical references, the project provides a gathering space that supports all ages while honoring the geological and cultural roots that define Candelo’s identity.

About

I’ve always been an adventurous person, and skydiving is what really opened my eyes to how different the world looks from above. Eventually, I wanted to capture that feeling in a way I could share, so I picked up a drone. Now I use it to record moments from the air, exploring places from a new angle and holding onto that same sense of wonder I get when I’m up in the sky.
