We offer an underlay for rugs and runners to prevent slipping, provide extra comfort and extend the life of your rug. It is highly recommended for all rugs.
Our underlay is suitable for use on timber, parquet, laminate, tile, concrete, stone, marble, cork and PVC floor coverings, as well as on heated floors. It can also be used on carpets to prevent rugs from creeping. Newly sealed floors must be completely dry and cured before laying any rug or underlay.
Our underlays measure 3 mm in thickness with a light adhesive finish on both sides to satisfy the highest demands. Underlays are designed for stocked rugs listed 5 cm larger on each side. Custom sizing includes circular shapes.

Images — Images featured in this catalogue show one end of the rug for illustrative purposes only. All rugs are made with turnover or tassels at the top and bottom of the rug (width). Images listed may not be true to colour or scale due to printing variations. Please refer to actual rug samples for colour and design details.
Sizing — Due to the handmade nature of our products, Armadillo allows for a size variation of 3% (custom orders) to 4% (stocked items). Variations in pile height and total thickness of 1-3 mm are considered acceptable.
Colour — Every effort is made to ensure there is minimal colour variation, however some can be expected as our rugs are made primarily from natural fibres. Placing rugs in direct and continuous sunlight will cause them to fade and is not a manufacturing fault. Please note that the colours are indicative only and true colours are best matched to the samples before ordering. If two rugs in the same colourway are required as a pair, please submit them as a custom order to ensure the same yarn batch is used. Colour variations are not deemed defective and are not claimable.
