A Blue-Green Landscape first Mere landskab Strategy for the transformation of – mere by! the Capital Region
The rapid urbanization and climate challenges facing the Capital region require a new strategic approach to spatial planning. Centred on 5 core themes, the Fingerplan 2.0 sets a framework for a sustainable and resilient development across the region. In response, our vision, “A Blue-green Landscape first Strategy for the transformation of the Capital Region” places the natural environment at the heart of urban transformation. By prioritizing green and blue corridors, we create a resilient and climate-adapted transformations where nature, biodiversity, and social balance thrive together. To secure a cohesive and future-proof development across the region, we propose the establishment of a regional planning agency, with a focus on both short , medium , and long-term planning needs.
