Shou Sugi Ban cladding is thing that never gets old in architecture and not only it is carved using the ancient technique but also has a modern look. Shou Sugi Ban or Yakisugi, are two names for the same process which includes the charring of the wood to make it more durable and prevent the weather from destroying it, and giving it depth of tone. The outcome is a wood cladding, either for the exterior or the interior, that is physically and visually beautiful as well as being functional.
