Farm Bureau Press 2026 YOUNG FARMERS & RANCHERS AWARD FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

The finalists for two of Arkansas Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer & Rancher competitions have been announced, with winners in each category to be named at the organization’s midsummer Officers & Leaders Conference on July 23-24 in Hot Springs. Finalists for the Achievement Award The YF&R Achievement Award recognizes those excelling in farming and ranching operations and exhibiting outstanding leadership abilities. The award is designed for those involved in full-time production agriculture. • Jacob and Callie Feather, White Co. Jacob Feather is a third-generation row crop farmer from Griffithville in southern White County. Raised on his family’s farm, he developed a strong work ethic at a young age through hands-on experience in daily farm operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2014 from Harding University and a master of business administration in 2016. Jacob honors both tradition and innovation in The Feather Family agriculture, farming approximately 1,200 acres of corn, rice, soybeans and pecans. He and his wife, Callie, are raising four sons while continuing their family’s agricultural legacy. • Jordan and Mary Ellen Lynch, Lonoke Co. Jordan and Mary Ellen Lynch began farming in 2016 as first-generation growers with 1,100 acres. Over the past decade, they have expanded their operation to 4,200 acres, including 270 acres of owned land. Jordan, a Lonoke native, worked full-time in agriculture while earning his bachelor of business administration from the University of Continued on page 2
