Title: Sins of a Saint

A girl named Avery Kash celebrated her 20th birthday with a party at a club. She was born into a fortune, so she never needed a job. Recently, she ended her relationship with Captain Mooz from the armour corps. They had an intense relationship. They met whenever he was on holiday. When he returned to the city, they would see each other at family parties.

Captain Mooz was tall, dark, and charming. But he wasn't what Avery wanted. They kissed, but it wasn't intense. It didn’t feel like breaking the bed, slamming against the wall, or having sex on a rocking chair. Their time together was slow in bed. He was a good kisser, though. Still, he couldn't lift Avery high into the sky.

Mooz got caught in a war zone on another continent. He had to leave Avery for the last time, and they never met again.

On her 20th birthday, Avery felt lonely, even though all her friends were there.

Her childhood best friend Ashley invited her to join her office. There was an opening that could help distract her. Plus, there was a guy there, Thomas Butt, who looked and talked like what Avery had always wanted.

After the birthday party, Avery couldn't stop thinking about Thomas. There were no pictures of him, and he was missing from social media. This made Avery even more curious. The next day, she went to the office for her interview. She wore a black dress to make a sexy first impression on Thomas. Yet, Thomas was not in the interview room. She came back and received a call informing her that they had hired her and asked her to join from tomorrow. Avery and Ashley talked about Thomas all night. Avery kept asking if she could take a picture of him. But Thomas has a personality that makes people hesitate to approach him. So, taking a picture felt completely out of the question. Avery went to the office the next day. She wore high heels, had straight hair, and had her nails done. Her makeup looked great too. She paired blue jeans with a white top. She made new friends as she has a friendly personality and was looking for thomas every where. When her curiosity peaked, she shouted, "Thomas!" to see who would respond. Everyone turned to look at her, and a heavy silence fell over the room. It was as if no one could believe she dared to say his name.

Thomas is the floor manager there. Well Thomas came to her, giving her a deadly look, wearing a black suit. In his deep voice, he said, "Did you call my name out loud?" Avery couldn't utter a word because she found the one who checks all the boxes. Avery ran to

Ashley and told her that she saw him, her voice filled with excitement. Ashley said you can try on him but it's never going to happen because he doesn't give a damn about girls in office. But Avery was sure that she would make Thomas fall in love with her.

Avery dressed well every day. She often called Thomas about small issues, like fixing the laptop or the internet. Thomas noticed what was happening. He also found Avery's beauty and youthful spirit appealing. They used to sit together and talk for hours. They would forget all about the work they started discussing. After a month, Thomas and Avery were returning from break. They were alone in the elevator. Thomas looked nervous as he asked Avery, “Would you be my girlfriend?” Avery felt like she was on cloud nine. She ran to him, hugged him tight, and whispered in his ear, “Ask me out in a way I can say yes out loud.” He smiled with warmth. They returned to the office. Avery shared the situation with Ashley. Ashley felt a bit jealous and didn’t respond well. Avery, feeling excited, couldn't notice it and was only thinking about how Thomas was going to ask her out. The next day, Thomas and Avery took their lunch break. They touched hands with a gentle pressure. Avery flipped her hair and stood in front of him, making strong eye contact. She spoke in a relaxed manner. He held her hand with a strong grip, and Avery shivered from the cold. Then, he whispered in her ear, "Would you like to go out with me?"

She smiled but said nothing. Then, Thomas pushed her against the wall and down the stairs. He held her throat and said, “You are mine, no question.” His breath brushed her lips. She replied, “I’m all yours.”

Thomas kissed Avery with fervour, sliding his tongue into her mouth. He moved his hand under her buttoned top, but the intensity of the moment caused him to break two buttons.

They heard someone coming down the stairs. They stopped and smiled, then began dating.

They were in love to a profound extent. They had a spot on the 10th floor of their office building, which was under construction. They used to make out there. It was winter, and they felt on fire in the middle of the fog. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. Everyone in the office noticed, especially since they were always late from breaks. Plus, Thomas, the office hunk, was finally in a relationship for the first time. He comes from a modest family that struggles to make ends meet. He studied Hydro Power Engineering on a scholarship and landed a job. His main focus has always been on his parents and his career.

After a year of dating, Avery's father noticed her interest in Thomas. He realised that Thomas lacked financial stability. He didn't even have a car and had sick parents to

care for. These facts trouble Avery's parents. They tried to talk her out of it, but Avery was so in love with Thomas that she always told her parents to be quiet. Avery's father, wanted her to marry Sam, his childhood best friend’s son. They owned an IT company, and Avery's father hoped to get shares of that company after Avery married Sam. A few days later, it was Avery's birthday. Thomas booked a room, and Avery bought red chiffon lingerie. Long-stemmed roses filled the room. Thomas opened a bottle of champagne and poured it into two glasses. He then kissed her cheeks and made a toast to her special day. He blindfolded her and took a gold ring from his coat. Then he proposed. Avery took off her blindfold and felt shocked to her core. Tears filled her eyes as she saw him on his knees. Avery sat down beside him, hugged him tight, and said YES—a big, fat yes. He picked her up and looked into her eyes, then laid her on the bed. He lit the fire, turned off all the lights, and played the song “Birthday Sex.” They made love six times that night. Next day Avery came back home and told her family that Thomas would like to meet them; he proposed to her. Her father and mother, deep down, felt furious but pretended to be pleased and asked her to invite him over. She called Thomas and invited him for the weekend dinner at her place. Thomas felt happy but also very nervous. He couldn't sleep for days. He showed Avery's pictures to his father and his bed-ridden mother. Both of them had a strong liking for her. He told them he was going to Avery's to meet her parents, and they gave him their blessings. On the weekend, Thomas visited Avery. She opened the door, kissed him, and led him to her father's study. Her parents greeted him with warmth. In front of Avery, her mother said to come to the kitchen. They needed to get something for dessert to celebrate. Avery, being naive, went to the kitchen. Her father then spoke with Thomas. He noticed that Thomas felt inferior around him. So, he used this to show Thomas how small he seemed next to Avery and Sam, the man Avery's father wanted her to marry. Thomas couldn’t lift his head as her father began to list his net worth, the cars he owned, and the family he came from. Thomas stood up and left the house. Avery saw him heading towards the main gate, so she ran after him. "What happened?" she asked, but he didn’t reply. He started his bike and drove away. Avery cried like a baby, called him 100 times, asked Ashley to call him, but he didn't pick anyone's call. She asked her father what happened. He replied, "I have no idea. I was just talking to him about business." She went to the office but learned that Thomas had quit his job and was nowhere to be found. Avery became very depressed. Her parents took her on holiday, but nothing helped. Every day, she tried calling his number, but there was no answer. One day, Sam visited Avery's place to meet her dad for business. Her father introduced them, and they chatted for about five minutes. Sam admired Avery's innocence and beauty, so he asked her father for permission to marry her. Averys father couldn't be more pleased. Her dad convinced her to marry. On her wedding day, she texted Thomas to say she was getting married at St. Mary’s Church. Thomas didn’t reply but still came to the wedding. He saw her all dressed up in that beautiful white and gold dress. Yet, she wore a sad face. He felt torn inside. He wanted to hold her in his arms but felt helpless. He was

high and walking in the middle of the road when a car hit him. Inside that car was Gogi Bash, the town's Godfather. People know him as the deadliest mafia leader. Gogi has been to jail 10 times. His crimes include murder and drug smuggling with rival families. An enemy murdered his wife years ago, and the authorities shot him dead later on. He has no heir and billions of dollars net worth, all his. He was looking for someone deserving to have this all after him. When he saw Thomas lying on the road, drunk and hurt, he took him to his doctor. He helped save Thomas's life. Thomas shared his story with Gogi when he was feeling better. He wanted to thank Gogi, but Gogi had another idea. He offered Thomas a chance to join him and be his right hand in his shady business. Gogi saw that Thomas was honest and believed he would never betray him, not even over his dead body. Thomas lost all hope in life; he agreed to join him not in greed but to have a purpose in life. Gogi and Thomas started an illegal business in weapons of mass destruction. Thomas, with his sharp mind, made all the arrangements. He proved to be a lucky charm and a mastermind for Gogi. This led to more success and the downfall of Gogi's enemies.

After five years, Thomas returned to town. He wanted to meet his parents and show them his new Range Rover. He also planned to buy them a house and meet their basic needs. He waited at the traffic signal and saw Avery in the car next to him. Her husband was with her. His heart skipped a beat. Avery looked terrible; bruises marked her arms, and she wore big sunglasses. Thomas thought she might be hiding bruises on her face. After a minute, the signal turned green, and cars began to move. But Thomas couldn't move an inch. He snapped back to reality when loud horns blared from behind him. At midnight, he called Ashley to see how Avery was doing. Ashley said Avery is in terrible shape. Her husband seems charming, but he’s a junkie. He smokes pot and sleeps with hookers. If Avery asks about it, he beats her up. Avery's parents are struggling after a big business loss. Her father also had a heart attack. Sam is helping take care of Avery's family, but it’s taking a toll on Avery. After a few days of marriage, Sam learned about Avery's affair with Thomas. When he asked Avery who she loved, she didn't answer. In anger, he hit her head with his ashtray. Avery was hospitalised for a week. Ashley shared every awful detail of Avery's life with Thomas. He grew so furious that the glass of wine he held shattered in his fist. He punched the wall and screamed, blaming himself. His cowardice forced Avery to confront everything alone. He took his pistol from the drawer, loaded it, and ran to the garage. Then, he started his car and drove to Avery's house.

Thomas's bodyguards followed him with loaded weapons. They stormed into Sam's house and wrecked everything inside. Avery walked out of the room wearing a net gown. It showed her skin and the bruises on her chest and thighs, as well as the marks on her neck. Her arms had cigarette burns too. Avery stood frozen, staring at Thomas. He held a gun, had bodyguards nearby, and wore a million-dollar Rolex on his wrist. Questions

filled her. After five years of torture, she couldn’t grasp what was happening. Thomas ran to her, scooped her up in his arms, and she collapsed in tears. "Why did you leave me?" she screamed. Thomas with fire in his eyes, asked, "Where is Sam?" Avery said he must be with his friends at brothel. Thomas gave her his coat and asked her to come with him. Avery felt scared, but Thomas helped her believe that everything would be okay from now on. Thomas told his bodyguard to take Avery home and call the servant for her. Meanwhile, Thomas checked Sam's location and went there. He fired some shots to get Sam’s attention. Then, he threw away his pistol and began to fight Sam with his fists. He slammed Sam’s head against the mirror wall, and Sam died on the spot. Everyone got scared, and someone said he is the son of Gogi Bash. His name is Thomas, and everyone bowed to him. His eyes were confident; he felt powerful; he knows now the feeling of the world beneath the feet. He drove fast towards home because he couldn't wait to see Avery. He bought red roses for her. When he returned, he found Avery sitting by the fire in a rocking chair, holding a glass of wine. He came to her, was on his knees, and crying; she sat down with him, and both of them had no words except of tears. They hugged each other and slept there. Next morning Avery woke up in a big round bed with a butler standing next to the bed carrying breakfast. She had a lot of questions about where she was, what happened to Sam, and how the hell Thomas managed this all. Thomas told the butler to go. Then he approached Avery in a towel and asked her to join him in the shower, just like before. Avery wore a black bathrobe. She hesitated before going to the bathroom. There, she saw Thomas in the shower. Water dripped on his biceps and chest, sending a thrill through her. She lost her robe and joined him. Thomas held her like before, his hand on her throat. He whispered in her ear, "Remember? You are mine." She blushed and said, “All yours." They kissed hard. He spanked her. Their make-out was so loud that even the servants below could hear Avery scream with pleasure. After making love, both of them got dressed, and Thomas took her to their old spot to surprise her. He blindfolded her and took her to the office where they met and took her to their lover spot 10th floor. He removed the blindfold, and Avery was amazed. Tears filled her eyes as she hugged him. “I missed you so much! Where were you? What happened?” Thomas held her hands and shared his story. He explained what her father did and how he met Gogi Bash, becoming part of the mafia himself. Thomas proposed to her with a diamond ring. He noticed Avery was still wearing the gold band he had given her five years ago. He felt so much love in his heart that was beyond explanation for him. Avery, standing there, said, “Yes! Please let's get married." He put the diamond ring over the gold band as Avery refused to take it off. He kissed her with tenderness and whispered in her ear, “I love you in each heartbeat.” Both of them stood there until the sunset, holding each other in arms.
