SIXTH RACE 3.56 TWO MILES ABOUT ONE AND A HALF FURLONGS (2M 1F 165YDS) FOR FIVE YRS OLD AND UPWARDS
THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY LES GILBERT HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 4) Total race value £13400 x Owners Prize Money. 1st £5008, 2nd £2504, 3rd £1252, 4th £626, 5th £280. (Penalty Value £6535.20) Weights raised 4lbs and paragraph 34 of the Weights and Handicapping Code complied with where applicable.
RACE STATS LEADING COURSE TRAINER (17-22): A Honeyball (30 wins from 82 runners, 37%) runs LE COEUR NET TRAINER-IN-FORM (LAST 14 DAYS): A Honeyball (2 wins from 9 runners, 22%) runs LE COEUR NET WEIGHTWATCHER: LE COEUR NET won off a handicap mark of 119, his rating is now down 13lb to 106. LONGEST TRAVELLER: LINCOLN LYN trained by T R Gretton, Inkberrow, 165 miles. RACE SUMMARY
ROSE SEA HAS has been holding his form well in better company recently and is probably capable of capitalising on this drop in grade. Le Coeur Net is leniently treated and took a step back in the right direction last time, so he’s feared along with En Coeur. 1-2-3: 1.ROSE SEA HAS (FR) 2.LE COEUR NET (FR) 3.EN COEUR (FR) KEY

LONGEST TRAVELLER: RADDON TOP trained by C Down, Cullompton, 150 miles. RACE SUMMARY
AGE OF WISDOM has failed to fire in three starts following a 19-month absence, but better was clearly expected at Huntingdon recently (sent off 5/2 favourite) and the 9-y-o is worth chancing here off a dangerous mark, in the hope that he responds positively to the new headgear. Raddon Top is 3-3 since switched to handicaps and has to be feared, but The Tin Miner could be the main danger.
