Al Basti Equiword, Dubai the UAE’s leading distributor or horse feeds and supplements proudly sponsors the Owners & Trainers facilities at Bath Racecourse

Welcome to Bath Racecourse!

On behalf of everyone at Bath and Brighton Racecourse, I am delighted to welcome you to our fourth fixture of the season and what promises to be a fantastic evening of racing.

We are hosting this fixture on behalf of Brighton Racecourse, so if we are welcoming you for the first time, we hope you enjoy all that Bath has to offer

I would like to begin with a huge thank you to our generous sponsor today – Fairplay, who have taken the entire card here today. Their continued commitment plays a vital role in making days like this possible and in supporting British racing.

We are also excited to have launched our Summer at Bath series, back by popular demand. The fixtures within this campaign promise plenty of fun and great entertainment, including:

• Friday 5th June – An evening of racing followed by a live DJ in the paddock

• Ladies Day – Saturday 13th June – A highlight of the social calendar, featuring live music and dancing through the decades

• Friday 31st July – Live music from The Wurzels after racing

• Saturday 15th August – Rum and Reggae Night with live music

• Saturday 12th September – Absolute Country, featuring a Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs tribute

There really is something for everyone, and we are so excited to welcome you throughout the season.

Looking ahead, our next fixture is our Family Fun Day on Monday 4th May, where kids go free and we have a host of family entertainment. Something to keep everyone amused.

We hope you have a wonderful evening with us and look forward to seeing you again soon.

We also have a high-specification horse ambulance in attendance at every fixture to enable safe transport of a horse from the track to our on-site veterinary treatment facility for further treatment, or to the nearest equine referral hospital.

It is our standard practice to erect screens around any horse or jockey requiring attention on the course as this provides privacy and a safe, calm environment in which to accurately diagnose and treat the patient as necessary Please do not assume the worst if screens are erected around a horse. We are fully committed to minimizing risk in our sport, to dealing professionally and efficiently with any injury, and to maintaining the highest possible quality of care for the horses and jockeys racing here today. Afirst success on turf could be on the cards forTHECOFFEEPODDOTCO, who wasn’t seen to best effect (and may not have been ideally suited by the soft ground) when fourth in a higher-grade handicap at Musselburgh last time and she’s been eased 1lb since. Moe’s Legacy was a close-up fourth over 5f here on Monday and, with this slightly longer trip a big plus, she will be a big threat if allowed to take her chance. Silver Wraith, a C&D winner when last seen in the autumn, also has claims.

Having shaped pretty well in a stronger handicap on her recent reappearance, CONNIE’S ROSE looks the way to go She is entitled to come on for that and could prove hard to catch back down in trip, as well as class. Rogue Bullet scored on the back of a similar period of absence on his return last season, so the lack of a recent run is unlikely to be an issue. He is feared most ahead of Cayman Tai and Binadham.

If she goes to post ENDOFASTORM could take some catching back at this trip after giving it a good shot from the front in an 11.6f handicap off this mark here on Monday, leading from flag fall until she was headed around a furlong from home.
